In my experience, it’s always better to use links with: Strong Attack Recharge (SAR) + Full-Stamina Damage Boost (FSD) Or SAR + Strong Attack Damage (SAD) A mixture of the two above is ideal. Even if, let’s say your SAR link is giving you 600+ SP and your FSD+SAR is only giving around 300 SP. You will do more damage with the FSD+SAR link. Hope that helps, goodluck!

Yes, the higher your link levels the better your main character will be.
Maybe also try the new evolved golden yuki+ or yuki+ as a replacement.
