It’s beautiful! I’ve done some 18x24 swipes and it is so hard to get all the paint off. I tilt them instead of spinning because my spinner (and house) won’t accommodate spinning canvas that big. I’ve had some small cracking at the edges, mine took two days to dry - but my cells don’t stay like yours do. Thank you so much for posting “mistakes” too. Glad to see we aren’t alone in still learning this technique. It’s still so beautiful!

Love your swipe Jodi, colour and composition just Fab!Didn’t you know chaos is good!! And what cracks?!🧐…. that’s texture!! When the “cracks” add to the piece you cannot see it as a negative. The”texture” follows the colours/ cell pattern so they look deliberate. I’d take that as a sign they were meant to be there. Great work stepping up to the bigger canvases too. It is daunting but I love how you just dive in. I also cannot comprehend the climatic changes that you have to deal with. It would add a whole other level of complexity to an already difficult technique. And you just power on through it all! In Brisbane. it’s pretty much just hot or hotter all year round so no freezes here and therefore no heating required.I guess we’re lucky. Keep up the great art. Hugs D

I sometimes get cracks in my work too as a beginner. However, I love the cracks. I think they give us an opportunity to further explore our creativity. When you have lemons make them into lemonade.

Fantastic! You need to invest in a larger bottle of gold interference with the awesome uses you find. My first 4oz was nickle azo gold. I LOVE the colors in this piece. I can't imagine it could have gone better. You rock!

Cracks are ok. I know a woman artist and she paints 8’ paintings for $16,000.00 and up. And she has her artwork all over the USA in million dollar homes. I love your painting.
I think it's beautiful! If I had the money I would buy it every day forever! I think that the cracks look like part of the painting. But of course I'm not in person so I can't really see it as good as you can. But with resin who knows.

I thought the painting came out just beautiful. As for the cracks I know you can be creative how about taking those same colors that you used and painting in the cracks you can make it psychedelic like the rest of the painting or you can just pick one color for each correct. That can be fixed easily so I say Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah. All in all it came out beautiful👍🏾❤️
It turned out great! After you finished the swipes, I thought that would be the perfect setup to do the marble technique. Hope you consider that on a future large canvas. Thank you for your courage to keep pushing yourself to go bigger and better to challenge yourself. It is encouraging for us beginners just starting out who are learning with your help.

Gorgeous result!! I get those cracks this time of year too from my heater fan. I have learned to cover my pieces with a rubbermaid bin to keep the moisture in and let them dry for a few days. Your cracks are in great places, easy to touch up and play. I have also learned that satin finish paint cracks less. Good luck hun!

I really like it is so cool looking even the cracks our interesting I had it painted back on me and I took and put some other color in there to go with where the cracks were and it came out just fine and resin definitely resolve any issues
Yea it was the changing of the environment for me but that’s a good idea, I usually put GAC 800 in some of my paints to help thin but floetrol would work too, thank you! 💜💜
I like this and would probably try an acrylic paint pen or two where it cracked. It kind of reminds me of 4 tiles when I look at it as a whole. Great work. 🙏

I love your new spinner. I love to use my glass table top on my spinner, so I can see the sides better. You never now what direction the paint will take you. It's all a Satori Journey.

Gorgeous result!! I get those cracks this time of year too from my heater fan. I have learned to cover my pieces with a rubbermaid bin to keep the moisture in and let them dry for a few days. Your cracks are in great places, easy to touch up and play. I have also learned that satin finish paint cracks less. Good luck hun!
Thank you so much Christina and thank you for the tips! Things have gotten a little better in the studio, we turned on the humidifier too eek it was off so things are drying slower but I’m definitely going to cover bigger pieces like this from now on. 🤗💜🤗

I really like it is so cool looking even the cracks our interesting I had it painted back on me and I took and put some other color in there to go with where the cracks were and it came out just fine and resin definitely resolve any issues

Also if you don’t want cracks use floetrol in your base/pillow paint. My artwork dries super quick and no cracks.
Yea it was the changing of the environment for me but that’s a good idea, I usually put GAC 800 in some of my paints to help thin but floetrol would work too, thank you! 💜💜

I like this and would probably try an acrylic paint pen or two where it cracked. It kind of reminds me of 4 tiles when I look at it as a whole. Great work. 🙏
