What a magic wave ! Seriously , there is no other wave on Earth like Honolua Bay . I first saw it in a movie with Reno Abellira surfing it , and have loved watching it since. Memorable was when Carrisa Moore won there .
I was on Maui the week before and left the Monday of this swell - It was picking up really nicely. Damn I missed this swell but I'll be back to support my Local fam/friends. Great waves on a cool beach!!!
Excellent video of a wave that I dreamed of surfing one day, but not good enough to handle that wave, thus enjoying the view behind my laptop. BTW Who is the guy on that red single fin (assume its a single fin) insane barrel at 3:39 - stylish surfer.
