    Great advice! It’s a good thing there are people like you around Scott to minimize the impact of idiots.

      Thanks, some folks need adult supervision when they go outside, hopefully they’ll learn at some point.

    You can get fireproof bags for those lithium ion batteries if you want to further reduce risk of fire and potential property damage or injury.

      Yes it’s been fun to play around with. I have a DJI Mini 2 but I rarely fly it (cause I’m lazy) but this little thing is quick and easy.

    Scott most campers are very responsible and then some are just plain dog s*** it's great we have people like you that come by and put out the fires and clean up their messes enjoy your video keep them coming Jake McClellan the Oregon boy😊

      Yes sir, they are tons of good folks out there but it only takes one irresponsible moron to ruin the forest.

    After all these years of seeing that we should put our fires out, and all the huge forest fires in the news, you would think that you'd NEVER find one left burning yet it's astonishing how often that happens! I'm glad you were there (and prepared!) to put it out. Last time I found one I was hiking and ended up running back and forth to a nearby stream with a gallon ziplock 😆 Wow - you found some amazing views up there! Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for watching. Yes every time I find an abandoned fire I am amazed at the lack of awareness especially with how many fires burn all over world now.
      I’m glad you were there and a stream was nearby to get that one you found. One irresponsible individual can cause so much damage, it’s a good thing there are a lot of good forest stewards venturing out there.

    Good job out there in the brush Scott! Lots of cool stuff, but I really like that drone. Great shots with that thing! At first I thought I was hearing a swarm of mosquitoes!
    For rainy days, the next power station I get I need a water resistant one. I think I can connect the power station’s 12v to a solar controller I have that’ll boost the 12v up to 40v for the saw batteries. Saw battery connectors are just Anderson connectors. Now I charge under a tarp in the rain, but it’s sketchy. Those two 7.5ah batteries might just wear me out enough I won’t need to charge out in the rain at all though.

      Thanks. Yeah that little drone is pretty nice, I’m still learning how to use it.
      Wow you’re right, they are Anderson connections. It’ll be interesting in seeing how you come up with a charging set up.
      That saw sure is handy I put it to use yesterday on a hedge and today on a tree partially blocking the road. Nice and quiet for the neighbors and I didn’t have to bring gas into the woods.

    Always doing the good deeds 👌🏻 Appreciate ya buddy! Pretty sure a friend and I stopped a forest fire years ago. Scouting campsites and smelled smoke. A fire that wasn't put out had smoldered underground 5 yards across the forest floor and was about to ignite. Must stay diligent for all!

      Thanks! Wow, sounds like you were there just in the nick of time. Good thing you followed your nose and knew what to do.
      A few years back I found two abandoned fires on the same damn road, one was still going good with 3 foot flames. Litterbugs piss me off but irresponsible people with fire make my blood boil.

    Wow - the boneheads that left the unattended fire are scary. Also, although I have a built-in 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery for my camper's 12 volt needs, a lithium power station is nice to have for recharging other items.

    • @scottalpine
      @scottalpine 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes some boneheads news bone knocked across their head.
      The little portable power stations are pretty handy when you want to have some power but aren’t close enough to the camper.

    Irresponsible campers is ridiculous. This is why TH-camrs need to stop giving out locations. If they're too lazy to research for themselves, they're probably going to be too lazy to leave a place better than when they came in.

    • @scottalpine
      @scottalpine 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes irresponsible campers are very frustrating. I’m not sure this place was given out by you tubers, it may have been. It’s at big a T intersection for a popular area with some nice views.
