My Great Grandfather's Civil War Battlefields

My great grandfather spent 3 and one half years in the 102nd New York Infantry Volunteers during the Civil War. He participated in some of the bloodiest battles of that war. I walked four of his battlefields to get a sense of the events that shaped this nation.
