I believe Aika's mother was a bad person who would drink a lot of alcohol who inevitably killed her husband, this made Aika scared and so she would praise her mother in fear of her getting hurt. I believe the axe could represent Aika hiding her feelings towards her mother while everyone else is having fun. The megaphone could represent Aika calling out to her mother to try and 'save her' metaphorically. The piano room could be saying that no matter what things Aika does to feel happy, there will always be a bad atmosphere. The page room/case room could represent Aika destroying her happiness and locking it away and getting frustrated with herself, represented by the torn pages. The mother room could represent Aika being brainwashed and frightened of how her mother will always be present. The bed with the outline could also be represented as Aika saying goodbye to her life. As the town gets darker and there is more garbage on the ground, this could mean Aika is no longer caring about her mothers feelings and actions. The cage could represent Aika's bad spirit staying with her forever, lets consider the doll being Aika's emotions as she struggles to feel safe or happy anymore. This would be understandable considering how her mother had treated her. I believe Aika killed herself in order to escape that endless hell, and drowned herself. The shark room could also represent Aikas thoughts of everything being bright and colourful, while she stands between her mother (statue) and her anger (shark)

to be honest even without the japanese definition i thought it was kinda obvious that the red shoes there meant she drowned herself.
also, 2 of the rooms have changed. one in the 3rd house (the basement bedroom turned into a cafe) and the other in the 2nd house, the left room. also i think the basement there changed too.

While I do really like your theory, there's just one thing that bugs me about it. Aika's parents getting divorced because her father accidentally let their dog run away is a pretty drastic measure. I have never heard of parents getting divorced because their dog ran away, they could just get a new one. Plus, there is no other factor to suggest that Aika's father and mother got divorced, because if her father really was pressuring her, it was after they divorced, not before.

    • @shinyhoundoom1407

    • @anelathefella

Maybe the dog was something that Aika loved as much as her mother. But her dad decided to kill it for whatever reason. Her mom, being very close to Aika, could've gotten quite angry at her husband for killing something that her daughter really loved. The Father could've been angry with his Wife for being so angry about a dog, and left her for being so angry. But you never know its just a theory

Hei. 7:30 In psychology if a child is separated from their parents and their mom/das is being extremely toxic towards their partner that has been separated, kids tend to put their mother/father they’re with in a better light than their other parent (halo effect) - thus it’s often manipulation of the caregiver towards their kid. In normally and harmonic separations, kids think that their parents are both ok.

  • @leah7419
    @leah7419 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

i see the room with the eggs and the piano as the phrase "stepping on eggshells". the meaning of this is "to be overly careful in dealing with a person because they get angry or offended very easily; to try very hard not to upset someone or something.". which may mean that aika had to be careful with her mother, who is theorised to be an alcoholic and abusive (as you can see if you look closely in the bookshelf maze painting of aika and her mother, her mother is seen holding something black. it could be either seen as a bottle or her pulling aika's hair) so aika would have to be very careful around her because she doesn't want to get hurt by her mother.
and yes, in japan, before entering homes they take off their shoes so they don't track dirt into their homes. so, before committing suicide, they remove their shoes before they enter the "afterlife" so that they do not track dirt or anything into a destination which is so delicate and seemingly unreal.

I think the egyptiancat guarding the town has to do with the dog dying. In the earlier version of the graveyard there were doghouses. The megaphone represents the mother calling out to the lost dog and that the cat guiding town hall looks like Anubis the god of mummification and death implying that Aika's family lost their dog and the dog died while it was missing.

I think that the story is (remember this is just my opinion) she did talk to the flowers like you said and they were her friends but on her birthday she got this dolly, and just like the flowers the dolly spoke to her and told her to do bad things. The doll wanted Aika all to herself, so the doll told Aika to kill her dog and parents since they made her play the piano. Aika then realized what she's done, and is so miserable she kills herself and is buried with the doll forever. I'm not sure. You theory was great too, nice job

My theory is that aika's mom went insane, murdered her father and left aika alone. This town may be reflecting aika's before and after stage. Red is the color of blood and aika wears red. I have no idea why she wears all red I'm just reflecting it. The before stage is where you wake up on the bed to where you cross the bridge. Why we find so much dollys in this town is probably how aika calmed herself in those dark days. This is my own theory I am not copying anyone.

    • @LaydiNite
      @LaydiNite 6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

Neferu was an alternate name. Both that and Nefertiti are more titles or nicknames than actual given names. In Egyptian, 'nefer' means 'beautiful', and Neferu means something like "The beautiful one has come" which was supposedly what her husband said the first one he saw her.

    Theory :
In the Beginning Aika tells you this is her dream which is probably reffering to the story of her. Aika for I'm assuming loves the color RED. When you join it's Aikas Birthday ! Her parents give her the red dolly for her present, the dolls haunted(or her imagination) that its giving her stress, the doll staring at the shark is Aika, wondering if she should take her life, The other room with dolls looking away and the eyes staring at her is stress, the clocks turning they're eyes left and right at the angel and demon is also if she should take her life (demon) or stay (angel) now when for the libary maze not much I can say but maybe the books is all the stories of why she's stressed, at the water in japan shoes are token off before taking you're life as in taking the shoes off to enter someplace else (the afterlife) the doll has corrupted her and made her stress to suicide . . . So when you talk to her she says it's the end, the person who find her corpse buried her with the dollie meaning she is trapped with it even in the afterlife and there is no escape,
    BUT THATS JUST A THEORY,
    A GAME THEORY !
    *game theory outro music*
Tell me you're thoughts about this I would love to see how this would fit in my theory ty for reading bye !

Am I the only one who thinks they got divorced for a different reason? I think the spinning wheels in the shark tank repsents the feeling of being high from drug usage, hence the rainbow colors everywhere. MAYBE somebody in the family used drugs and that caused divorce a lot of people would say it’s her parents taking the drugs... BUT The shark tank, the doll, and the red shoes
I think she started taking crack because of the fighting, which caused her to get high and being sudicideal while tripping she finally did so. Maybe the reason she took drugs was influenced by one of her parents that drank a lot of alcohol (the cider and bottles I think Are everywhere I dunno I think I saw that from a lets playz) And she couldn’t get her hands on alcohol but she could on drugs somehow
Oh wow this ended up to be long lol

My theory is that aikas dolly and aika are technically the same person, yet they are both seen in the same place in the same time. But what I think is representing malice and bloodlust, coming from aika being pushed to the edge and stressed by her parents, causeing but the dolly to kill the dog and all her friends. The mom then preys to call out for the dog. The owls looking at the statues represent the dolly (demon wings) and aika (angel wings) causing the creation if sin. Then the dog killed the mom and dad, causing aika starting to go insane, drowning herself. In the end, aika was buried with the doll, causing aika to be trapped in eternal bloodlust, becoming a mindless killing being in the afterlife.

It is about the creator's life. Basically, it is about a girl who was raped and how she suffered from many disorders like schizophrenia, personality disorders, etc. I will explain more about the details below. This topic consists of sensitive subjects, just a heads up to you all.
When you first wake up inside the dream, you will see the strange black and white patterns on the ground allover the place. When you move around and look at these patterns, you will notice that they will make your eye vision a bit strange. This symbolizes the point of view in her eyes in her early childhood. She see's things... differently from others. Waking up from the bed to see these patterns symbolizes how she had awoken from child birth and every day of wakings as a baby, she developed disorders and grew up to learn and see things.. differently.
The disorders she developed was personality and schizophrenia.
There are flowers around the first house because she used to talk to flowers when she was a child. And because of her disorders, the flowers would talk back to her...
When you enter first house- there is a birthday cake and a present. Of course, this symbolizes her birthday. She got a doll for her birthday. The Mannequins symbolize her imaginary friends that she would hallucinate from schizophrenia, and her personality disorder as well. The present was her first doll, and she would hallucinate this doll talking to her just like the flowers.
Upstairs is her bedroom. She had many toys as a child, and she loved to paint (she had an art talent.) and she loved her mother very much. She had a pet dog and lived with her parents (she is an only child) which is why that is painted on the paintings displayed upstairs.
When you are walking in the direction to the 2nd house, things start to get a bit ugly... as she grew up she began to see things more differently and more.... scary. instead of the pretty flowers that used to talk to her, there are ugly weeds. This resembles how she grew up and began to see and hallucinate things differently. It seems that as she grew up... her disorders did as well. And the slow and scary change in environment in this town resembles this.
If you walked into the lost and found, there are tons of bee hives. This resembles how she used to talk to bees as well whenever she would talk to flowers.
When you enter the 2nd house- there is a maze. This resembles how her life became a maze as she grew up as a child and struggled with the disorders she had. The signs represent running away.
When you finish the maze of chairs, you enter a room and see all those dolls.... those resemble her toys. Because of her schizophrenia, she would hallucinate them with voices... they are turned around from you because in her hallucinations, they turned their backs on her and hated her. She hallucinated this because when she is stressed out, especially as a schizophrenic, she will hallucinate bad things and as a result, she hurt herself, whether it be physically or mentally. So from there, she hallucinated her dolls going against her as a way to hurt herself. At the time, she had no friends and her only friends were the voices that she heard in her toys. When you turn around, there are eyes on the wall that is looking at the dolls. This resemble her eyes. In these eyes, you see confusion... fear.. despair... and anger. All because her dolls hate her... and it hurts.
Upstairs, there is adam, eve and the snake. She put this in there because she grew up in the religion of jesus christ, and she would think that the reason why she lived horribly in her mind is because of eve, who she believed to be the first woman born on earth and also the first woman to disobey god and take the apple. She believed that because of this, every women will now be punished as well as her. She believed that she is being punished with disorders, and she believed that she was born a punishment to her mother because of the disorders she has and how she took it out on her family many times.... and in the basement, there is a party. All those dolls represents her imaginary friends/people and dolls she hallucinated voices from... The axe represents the terror behind this disorder.
Outside, dog houses are buried... because she killed her own dog from the stress she suffered with. The mittens that lay by the graves represent her hands.... because it is her hands that killed her dog.
On the beach there are shoes... because she developed severe depression and attempted suicide many many times.
In the 3rd house- there are book shelves and the doll... In this point of time, she is around her teen age. The books resemble how she would go around and read about her disorders and ways to treat it. The sound you hear in this room with book shelves resemble the scary screams she would hallucinate. If you find what item it is coming from, and if you notice, the more closer you get to it, the more high pitched it gets. This resembles how every time she attempted to get close to a treatment in her studies, she got very pressured and doubtful of finding a cure. The stress of all this pressure and doubt made her screaming hallucinations worse.
The room with the journal and papers resemble her diary pages and drawings... She looked at writing and journalism as a way to relieve the stress these disorders gave her.
Upstairs is her room in her teen years. The paintings displayed everywhere represents a drawing of herself. As an artist, she constantly drew herself because growing up with the disorders she had on her own and how she went against herself everytime, she thought that loving herself more would change that.
In the basement, there is a room.... the bed has a outline of a person. This resembles how she got raped. The doll is there to resemble her disorders and the tiny pink baby bed resembles how she suffered with pregnancy from this rape... the doll that sits in front of it resembles how she lost her mind from her disorders and out of fear and stress, got a miss-carriage purposely.
In the 4th house- the house is messy. This resembles how messy her life became. Upstairs she crosses everyone out in the paintings because she realized that she went through all of this alone. Down stairs in the room behind the dresser... stands the doll, heads and the mannequin. This resembles her and her imaginary friends in her head went through this... all alone.
All the animals houses have dolls because it represents how her disorders (the doll) got in the way of getting along with people. But if you notice, one house, which contains no dolls at all resembles her best friend that was there for her through all of this... the only person who was close to her. His house is space themed because in the real life, her best friend loves space.
I hope I explained this well. if you want to see the town or havent heard of it, you can see it here:

I recently got back into acnl because of the ac switch release date being too far lol
But I'm now trying to peice this story together myself, someone mentioned the eve statue being fake which I assumed maybe the father remarried. If the eve statue behind the doll with the shark tank is fake also, I think the step mother treated her poorly (like pressuring her into playing the piano or having high expectations??) Which made aiko contemplate suicide.
This all leads to me thinking maybe the step mother tricked her father into marrying her because of the 'Adam and eve eating the apple' situation.
Maybe the stepmother killed Aikas real mother by leading her away when she called out for the dog or maybe the megaphone was a cry for help before being killed by the soon to be stepmother?
Either way, I think an evil stepmother was involved somehow..

I'm not sure where but someone said that the eve statue was a fake and aikas mum died and the dad married another woman. that's why the other woman is portrayed by a fake eve
edit: to add my own thoughts to this theory, I think aika was pressured by the fake mother. that's why when she committed suicide there was the shark tank, with aika in front about to drown herself. and the mother behind her. because the mother was behind her I think this symbolises that she preasured aika into suicide from stress.

I think the dolls represent innocence in a way. The red doll could be a piece of Aika’s brain. She is going insane more and more. Aika’s mind could also be the town. A timeline of her insanity in a way. This could be because of the divorce you mentioned more and more.

You're theory is a nice one, but it does not make alot of sense on most of the obscure things around the town. there were alot of times were i said to myself "Yeah, but what about that" You missed on a vary important part of the story, (this might have been changed, or this was from another town entirely) Where a artist made a painting, and after going to the other rooms in the house, the doll gets closer and closer, moving from the painting and killing the artist that created it once it escaped from the painting. And some how, the doll ended up getting gifted to Aika for her birthday (which happened, i dont know why you said that it didn't). The room with the angel and demon statue, does represent good and evil, and it might be about Aika (the angel) and the doll (the demon) and maybe not seeing a difference between them. Which the doll was meant too look like Aika, that's why it was gifted too her. was because the doll looked like her, and little girls love that sorta thing in stereotypical horror. The dolls having a birthday party, represents how the doll wants all the other toys/dolls gone. and the scene of the maze, is the dolls running away. The whole Adam and eve thing i dont really get, but i think the snake represents the doll, and Aika being eve and adam. the doll trying to convince her on something that she shouldn't do (like eating the forbidden fruit) And the maze of book shelves chould represent Aika feeling like her mind is a maze, and the doll is slowly controlling her. The picture of the mom and just Aika, looks like the mother is either angry, or she is screaming about something. And in the picture it looks like Aika or the doll is holding something. and that is probably the axe, and the doll kills her, or the doll has taken over Aika's body to kill her mother. The room with the piano is pretty confusing, but its important too note that in the room are not any eggs, but easter eggs. and sense this village has alot of religon elements in it, this is most likely about Rebirth, And how jesus so happens too come back too life on easter. (Aika has been reborn, or atleast. the doll can now have complete control over her. i have no idea what the piano has to do with this theory though). And in the room with the eyes, thats the doll keeping a eye on all the toys, there facing away because there facing away from Aika, due too the doll being possessive and wanting Aika all to herself. And the next room with the diary i have no idea what to think about it, it chould be about Aika wanting the happy times too come back. or the doll found Aikas diary, and has ripped it up, from seeing all the happy memories in it and being Jealous. And the doll soon becomes jealous of the mother getting all of Aikas attention, sense she really loves her mom. And kills her in the end, and the bird cage with lyrics or song notes, is a classic metaphor of someone being trapped, and not able too leave, and being forced too do something. The last house, with the doll in the back room and Aika, Represents that the doll now has her. And she is all hers, she got rid of the dolls, the dog, the father, the mother. and now she has her. and she has complete control over her. And somehow, maybe Aika escaped, or she noticed that the doll controlled her to do all these things, and Killed herself.

The Adam and Eve room, if Eve was supposed to be representative of her mother perhaps her mother committed adultery (temptation of the apple and all) which was the cause of divorce. Because it seems like there was a lot of mention of the mother but not necessarily happy and always around the dolly with an axe. Feels more like resentment. I think she was under consistent pressure by both her parents, possibly snapped and killed the mother out of resentment for breaking up the family and then committed suicide. I think the mother being the town hall meant obviously the mother is the person of focus, but the megaphone represents loudness, such as fighting and arguments, because the graveyard next to it is filled with the aika dolls, it was slowly diminishing her will.
I agree with a lot of the theories in this video. It was just those couple of things that I personally interpreted differently.
Years later sorry, with all the dream suite mention now with NH I happened on this video, hoping that if NH implements it we'll get another mind F of a town XD

Its a very good theory but somethings to point out on the theory I came up with.
I think the crime scene of the house is the father's house. Why I say this is because there is a piano at the top left side. I think Aika killed her father because of the pressure and lost of sanity.
The place where Aika and the dolly being looked at by statues might represent the courtroom. The bars around her and the dolly might represent jail.
The beach area might be what happened after the events. After her mother passed away and her father died, she is completely alone. The pressure of her killing her father and her mother passing away probably increased as she is viewed as a serial killer. She probably killed herself as an immediate solution.

" my rappresentation" Aika was a little girl with a happy family and a cute dog her best friend was dolly, a doll with the same clothing as her, one day due to drinking a lot of alcohol Aika's mom and dad decided to abuse her. Dolly asked Aika to kill them, but Aika didn't know who to choose, continuing getting abused or kill them. So at the end she decided to kill them. In her birth day she didn't want her friends to know what happened with her family, she decided to hide everything. At the end, she started feeling depressed, she knew that she did something wrong and decided to drown her self. Leaving all the things not covered her friends started knowing everything about her, they couldn't find her, it was too late....

this is my interpretation of the story: *skipping birthday* ok so ima go over one thing I think the mother was calling out for her daughter because she couldn't take the fact that she had died ok so im actually starting from the beginning (when it gets some actual drama): her parent's get a divorce because Aika's dad abused Aika she was forced to be taken by her father, but her mother was too weak to defend Aika she was forced to do a lot of stuff as in hobbies *skipping some stuff* then out of pressure she goes to the ocean but she is indecisive of if she is ok with this choice and finally she ended her life, and the doll is not a way to show Aika or a doll Aika owns after her mother had found out she had died she did everything she could ending up with Aika's soul being extracted from her dead body to a doll the mom had found, but then she was arrested because she was accused of murdering Aika out of guilt she let the cops kill her for 'her actions'

Something that bothers me when people make videos or theories on Aika Village is that they skip over the whole Adam and Eve thing and party when, in my opinion, it brings a whole lot to the story. To me it seems that Aika’s mother is abusive towards her but in the first house it’s supposed to show maybe what outsiders think of them, a perfect family that is happy. But in the second there is a maze, and the clocks and statues; this to me represents possibly Aika coming of age and either feel good pressured to do something she’s not ready for which is maybe why there is an angel and a devil statue, because she can’t decide whether thats what she wants or not, the clocks represent her running out of time to make a choice and the heart balloons represent the idea that she is making the decision to have sex. In the upstairs there is the Adam and Eve with the forbidden fruit which to me represents her losing her virginity and then in the main room is a party which is why I think this party is her coming of age, but the age may represent that she was possibly raped (because the snake represents something about to go wrong so maybe she wanted to but then changed her mind and he forced her) in the other room the shark and the doll with the mom may represent that her mother frowns upon sex before marriage and is angry at her for doing it or is telling her not to, the dolls facing away from her could represent her leaving her childhood stage and growing up and the eyes on the wall may represent once again that she feels pressured or maybe like her mother is watching her to make sure she’s staying pure ( I do believe that the doll represents her ) Aika seems to be controlled by her mother and when she says the thing about screaming and nobody listens so maybe she tried to tell people about what happened and they didn’t believe her. In the third house is where I think it shows a lot about her family home, that maybe she’s abused and where the piano with the high expectations is where her mother expected her to stay pure until marriage, the diary may represent that she wrote about what happened and was starting to go crazy because nobody believes her or she feels ignored or maybe she feels she can’t say anything because of her mother and rips the pages out so nobody sees them, the tv with the static and the room with the mom all over it may represent that she feels the need to stay quiet because she doesn’t want her mother to find out, maybe she feels regret for what she did since her mother strictly told her not to have sex or maybe she feels controlled by her mother too much. The parent bedroom with the outline represents to me that her father is a missing figure in her life, that he hasn’t been there for her and maybe she misses him because she wants to open up about what has happened but can’t do it with her mom or maybe that her father had died before she was born or early after she was born. The house with all the trash could represent what the family is really like or possible what Aika’s life is like, that it’s all messy or maybe she is beginning to get some sort of mental illness that is causing her to feel messed up or not herself and her with the bars and people watching her could be a summary of the story; that she felt peer pressured into doing something she didn’t want to do and as a result felt constant guilt about what she did or maybe the cage represents her killing herself hence why the doll had a weapon or could represent self harm and that everybody around her watched as she was slowly losing her will to live but ignored her pleas for help
