I’m an American stylist and I’ve been bingeing Kiu’s videos all day. It’s so interesting to see how he approaches hair compared to how I was taught in school. The way he twisted the hair when creating layers blew my mind! I’ve never seen that before. If I had her as a client, I would’ve just gone with a sharper finger angle and she probably would have ended up with even shorter layer pieces, but I see that this is a good way to create an intentionally textured look yet still keep a lot of the length. I think I’m going to try to cut layers that way on a doll head later. I can’t wait to watch and learn more from his videos! :D
The Korean hair is thicker. Western hairs are softer and more wavy. Cutting Asian and western hair same hair style. The way the hair get styled itself is trickier. Asians need more help or tips with creating waves.

I’m pretty sure that the texture treatment wasn’t an actual product,but rather the way he was cutting her hair and adding texture with the scissors to make it look uniform and neat

The stylist was quick to reassure her that the camera makes people look wider, he is very considerate of other people, and you can tell he tried his best to make her feel comfortable in front of the camera
whoa such a huge difference!! honestly the hair length, aside from the damage, she came with didn't really suit her face shape so when Kyu shortened it and made the style rounder it gave her much more beauty! those hair transformations are always so interesting, keep it up!!
It must've been satisfying to cut unhealthy hair... I remember getting a haircut once and my hair was so tangled, I can feel the stylist getting frustrated by spraying so much untangle spray... I just told the stylist to please cut it and I'm sorry lmao. it was the first time I got a short hair cut 😝which I didn't mind. It was cute.
so trueee. my hair was so damaged from 5 times bleaching + dyeing it during the quarantine, i decided to cut it really short (2 block hairstyle) it was really satisfying and refreshing bc im finally letting go of the damage 😽😽 also i start receiving more compliments on my short hair! it really boosts my ego hahaha
i think having a shaved head in korea would make you feel socially unaccepted, people would definitely stare at her. she could wear wigs but that’s quite a lot of work

i think having a shaved head in korea would make you feel socially unaccepted, people would definitely stare at her. she could wear wigs but that’s quite a lot of work

염색이랑 펌은... 둘다 머리에 손상을 많이 주기때문에 절대절대 같은날에 하면 안되요... 최소 1달 이상은 텀을 둬야 합니다.. 특히 탈색머리는 추가로 손상을 줄만한 처리들을 하면 안된다고 합니다..
