Dimash is not singing in each song his whole range. He sings what the song needs.

    "Киелі meken" - "Holy Land"
The song, combining the genres of rock and folk, was first performed at the first online concert "DIMASH DIGITAL SHOW" in January 2021.
"KIELI MEKEN", which translated from Kazakh means "Holy Land", sings primarily about respect for the ancestors, culture and traditions of his people.
The song praises love for the homeland, devotion to the homeland, people and readiness to do any feats in the name of the Homeland.
The words written by Kanat Aitbaev (father of #Dimash) speak about the good nature and courage of the Kazakh people,
about their readiness to pass on to the next generations the wealth that their great ancestors left to the nation.
His younger brother #Mansur Qudaibergen, a very talented young composer, plays guitar and drums here.
I wrote a few sentences, although I have the impression that you are not interested in them at all... just like the end credits, which are important and provide a lot of information.
    What a pity😔

👉 It takes my breath away. I am fascinated by the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Kazakhstan. Added to this is the almost aggressive music and a proud Kazakh on his horse, our Dimash, who flies over the steppe and praises the beauty of his homeland and its people with fiery words... and all of this at a breathtaking speed that suits everyone follows the rhythm of the song and emphasizes its power and energy.
Mansur's brief interlude in the video shows Dimash's endless love and bond with his family, his brother.
I can't tear myself away from this unique, wonderful work of art, I watch and listen to it over and over again.
But it also makes me very sad because our children in my country are learning today that there is no German people. Traditional rites and festivals are said to soon have disappeared from consciousness. Where do you belong? How can you live without your own and shared identity? What happens when one’s culture is disapproved of and books an d songs are “corrected”?
Dimash always touches my soul and warms my heart - He is my lifesaver!

The aspect of publicity of this video is for me regrettable, even if I respect Dimash's deep attachment to his country.
I consider that as a weakness in this remarkable work.
The second weakness is the agressivity of the music and general atmosphere, showing the Kazakhstan as a warrior country. It doesn't fit with the idea of peace always promoted by Dimash.

@@JeanneGwerzHi Jeanne-Dear, I respect your point of view, but I disagree. Of course, Dimash also advertises in his country, not just for the tourism industry, but also for cell phones or banks... and of course these advertisements are also online. It benefits the respective client but also expands Dimash's reach. Dimash also has to make money. The income from the concerts will certainly not be enough to finance his elaborate music videos, concerts, trips, employees of his company, his many charity campaigns, etc.

Kazakhstan is Muslim and patriarchal. Even polygamy (banned under Soviet rule) is no longer punished. Although women's equality is being striven for, there is still a long way to go.
Even Dimash is a product of his upbringing, and he said in an interview that he doesn't know how to cook. But that is also the profession of women. Even in the “West”, many men and women think the same way.
The song (Music: Yerbolat Kudaibergen, lyrics: Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash's dad) speaks of love and devotion to his fatherland and its people as well as the willingness to pass on the wealth that the ancestors left behind to the next generations and of course to defend.

I really thank you for your remarkable comment.
I intend to read about Kazakhstan so that I could know better this country, that I know very few, only through my interest for popular arts and crafts around the world. Having lived in Poland, I automatically heard about Kazakhstan, through ex Soviet Union.
I consider myself as an almost open minded woman, but you know, we are all prisoners of our culture and education.
So, being french, I react with all the prejudices of my western culture.
I understand what you told me about the necessity for Dimash to earn money. It's true that I would prefer Kieli Meken as a pure art piece. But of course, Dimash as everyone has material constraints, and even more, because of his life project and the fact it includes many other people.
The most disturbing for me, as a citizen of a laïc country, are the constraints due to the religion, though I respect everyone's believes.
The other very strong constraint is the seizure of the states on the greatest artists, with the risk for them to be swallowed and suffocated. I noticed that tendency about another artist from another muslim country, Putri Ariani, indonesian marvelous young singer and composer. She has to be part of every official celebration. She has to support pressure about wearing the hidjab, though apparently this is her own choice. (And it fits her very well !) She is as a trophy and a flag for her country's authorities.
But all along human history, artists were more or less prisoners of the power, in any political background, with necessary compromises.
Kieli Melken remains nevertheless a great song and Dimash a very great artist.
I hope the best for Kazakhstan, overall to keep eyes open on its true story and the realities of our dangerous world.

Băiatul de la chitară și tobe este Mansur, fratele mai mic al lui Dimash. Și el, ca și Dimash compune muzică, dar este doar instrumentist. Cântă la mai multe instrumente, ca și Dimash. Mansur are 17 ani.
