LOVED the video! I am ready to buy either the Slayer Max 10 or the Titan Propel 10.5 After watching this excellent video with "on water" review I am heavily leaning towards the Titan. Tell your buddy THANK YOU for me!
These are so insanely priced. For 3500 brand new I got a gheenoe 154, trailer, and yamaha 15hp. This did not include the bow mounted electric motor though. I don't need a boat ramp to launch this. And I can get this boat virtually anywhere remote backwater. For those who don't want to spend 2500 bucks for a boat with a peddle drive, you have options that will get you alot more. Even a gheenoe with just an electric only option with with trailer will be cheaper than this. And that includes a trailer. I have no clue why these boats are so expensive. But people will pay for it......
@@MrBassTV these peddle drive kayaks are just out of control in pricing. There are tons of small boat options out there where you can save tons. Car topping a 100 pound boat isn't for everyone and with that price tag, I would exhaust all options first.
Gheenoes are back water assassins. Even if I did offshore, I would get an inflatable "zodiac" option with trailer before going to peddle drive. My yamaha 15 hp is just 75 pounds and can be put on anything. Under 1000 bucks gets you a suzuki or honda bullet proof 2-3 hp outboard, 1000 bucks gets you a gheenoe, and 500-750 bucks gets you a trailer. And the fishability of gheenoe blows away a kayak.
Awesome kayak and great video showcasing it. Have you or your buddy tried getting rods into the front hatch? I'd like to be able to put at least two rods in there for transport to and from the lake. Looked like it would be tight.
Hey Mr Bass .... I see in promo videos that they also added space underneath for a transducer - would you be able to tell me the length and width of that space? Wonder if some of the longer/bigger transducers would fit ... thanks!
Sure! This is not exact because the transducer cavity is kind of tapered on the ends. It looks like you could probably fit an 8”x4” transducer in there.
@@brennanroyalty6664 I fish standing up all the time. Usually drifting down streams and small rivers. At first I was like this isn't stable but I got use to it. I quickly found out having rods stored behind me vertically causes more issues than it's worth and I've converted over to only using the horizontal rod mounts. I've since made a few changes and now I can store 8 rods layed down but it would had been easier in the wider Titan.

That is a nice kayak. I have been shopping around for my first one so great information.
It’s a great fishing machine!

I like the Gheenoe. Have ridden in one in the everglades and it was quite a treat.

Some people like to exercise
I'm sold..was gonna go old town pdl 120. Not now!
Nice looking yak Mr. Bass! ✌️
I want one of these so bad.
You will absolutely love it!
Same here. Hard to find in So Cal. This is Hobie land
Turn the boat around put the nose in let it float out soon as it floats and take the wheels off bottom doesn’t touch the ground way to do it

Never tried that, but the marketing info says there is room for rods in the hatch. I owned the bigger one and it would have been easier
Just got one for 325 usd used, pretty alright condition.

Whew...that sure is sweet and a good sell.
I love the videos and the Content you have been posting . Am getting into bass fishing using a kayak. Keep doing what you do . Love the videos again??
Awesome! Thank you!
What's all the creeking noise on the Hobie, that would drive me nuts?
That is my pedal drive. I need to tighten up the cable and it will stop. I’m used to it. Lol.
I bought a Slayer Max 12.5 this past year. I really like it. However if I did it again I would had bought a 10.5 titan for the wider width.
I was amazed at how stable the Titan is. It’s a nice boat for sure.
You find the native slayer 12.5 not quite as stable as you’d like? Looking at that or titan 12 to fish in.

Nice
What the heck? This is the Tank Pond!
Nice kayak
It really is!
How Does is it keeping water from entering ??
The water drains out of the scuppers
I meant how is it from keeping water from entering I had another kayak and it was always full of water
Great review. I’m 5 6”, do you think the Titan seat would adjust fine for my height?
Absolutely. I think it would work great for you.
You only need 2 pre drilled holes in the back for a power pole?
Actually, there are four pre drilled holes for the power pole. It works flawlessly
You ever enter the kayak tournaments?
No, but I think I might next year.
Nice no need for the aftermarket steering kit.
Yes! That’s a great improvement.
@@MrBassTV I also generate Bass fishing content Id love if you swing by and check it out tight lines friend. Im glad a subscribed to your Channel.
What year boat is this? The 2021 Titan I saw had grab handles that had a design embossed on them, and the seat had pleats. Yours doesn’t.
It’s a 2021. At least that’s what they sold him.
How heavy? Got to have a pick up or trailer to transport one though. Is the Drive warranted?
97 lbs empty. Fully rigged they say is 121 lbs. The pedal drive has a 5 year warranty.
I know where my stimulus check is going. Lol
Good for you!!
Wish I had $2,500 to spare :-(
man thats noisy
