You can have the best RBs, creative play design, great play calling, excellent coaching, superb training facilities & support staff...blah,blah,blah...but if your iOL is as bad as the Vikes' iOL has been FOR YEARS, you're not going to be able to consistently run the ball & gain the difficult yards when you most need to do so. Heck, while some of Dalvin Cook's drop-off in production during his last few years with the Vikes was due to age & years of violent collisions, a lot of it was also on the O-line. So, IMHO, most of the issues with the run game & pass game can be solved with bringing in 3 experienced, battle-ready studs with size & attitude to replace all 3 iOL positions.

I agree man bc I thought cook still had some talent with us and Alexander just was terrible last year and although jones had a soiled season this year you could only hope but think how hard it was for him to fight for those yards , the name of the game is to make it easier for the RB to get to that 2nd level so he can itch out 2-3 yards from their especially on 1st downs
