This video was insaaaaaaaanely good. The amount of details and the quality of the video and the filming. I know how hard it was filming these shots but you nailed it. Everything about this video is just too PERFECT. I absolutely enjoyed the video and loved it.
Great video, Raphael! Madrid looks nice, and the whole time I was hoping you would go to Barcelona! My favorite! Hope you went to the best place there, on Las Ramblas called la Bouqueria (similar to the Mercado de San miguel), with literal mountains of fruit! Can't wait to see that vid, and see how much you enjoy the delicious PIE-AY-YA! 😋 So great to see you, lots of love 💜🇨🇦
It makes me so happy to see his hard work pay off, and that he gets to visit such beautiful places and share them with us it’s truly something special🤩
Hey Raphael!!! I'm form Barcelona and I can assure you people don't treat turist badly!!! There is a problem with turism, bcs rent is so high people form here are not able to rent, that's all. There is a lot of bad propagando of Barcelona lately and it makes me so sad. I hope you have a great time there and if there is a next time you get a chance to stay longer, there are a lot of great things to enjoy here!!!
Omg… this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. I just moved to Madrid today and am riding a roller coaster of emotions!! Thank you for doing this
Ok, as a Venezuelan, I find so funny that the guy taking your order in the sandwich place 11:11 is Venezuelan! I recognized the accent immediately! 😅 we’re everywhere! Ps. 22:40 No way the guy who explain the address to the other was also venezuelan 🤣
Opinion for the lunch as an Italian: both are things are Italian combinations.... Both "mortadella pistacchio" and the Nutella one, we do It using pizza, cutting in the half (plus, those are Italian products)
I’ve been following you since 2022 and ever since then you have become my favorite TH-cam channel to watch . I love you so much. I appreciate you so much. Your videos make me happy everytime I watch them , so thank you ❤
Hi! I'm from the south of Spain, Andalucia, and I can assure you that if the Jamón is good the price is very expensive, maybe that one is a little overpriced but that's because that place is not a traditional one, is more gourmet and Madrid being the capital is more expensive than other sites. I hope you visit the country more times, there are A LOT of typical foods, and they change or are specialists on making them depending on which region you are. 💃🏽
Hi Raphael, I'm from Madridand the big thing they gave you in San Ginés is a porra, not a churro! Also in different places of Spain the style of churros and porras changes a bit!
Hi❤I’m from Madrid and I love your video . And yes, summer in Madrid is extremely hot normally . And about the “eels”thing, they are just imitation elvers or limitation eels because the real ones would cost like 1000€ , but yes, they are quite popular in Spain , but it’s just fish. 😅
I remember seeing the Churro place in the TV show "Me voy a comer el mundo," and they looked so crazy good. I'm so happy you got to travel around Madrid and have some time to unwind yourself. Btw, your Spanish is very good! This is coming from someone whose native language is Spanish
You should have gone to the San Anton food market in Chueca. Much more authentic for tapas, and used by the locals. San Miguel is nice to see but is a tourist trap, not many locals go there as it always a bun fight!
i went to madrid last year, and i had such horrible experiences with xenophobia it ruined the entire trip, but coming here and watching your video feels like a redemption in a sense, suddenly i can only remember the good things and the amazing food… i love your videos so much!! this one, amazing as always

Nice to have you back! Glad to see you were busy/having fun. You need a full life too! Loved the video! I had serious churro envy! Never had one. Looking forward to enjoying your next glimpse of Spain!😊
One thing I learned when visiting Portugal was the water bottles have the lids connected! It was amazing- mostly because we tried really hard to remove them as the dumb Americans we are. Lol Then, when we got home, I missed the attached lids!♡ Great video! Loved traveling with you!
rapha i love u so damn much ure literally my favorite youtuber u have no idea!!! the joy i feel when a notification pops up saying u uploaded a video..... inexplicable
Hi Raphael! I love this video! It brings back many fond memories of my visit to Madrid in April. I had churros and hot chocolate in a small restaurant that was delicious. The hot chocolate was so thick, rich and decadent and it didn't drip! Mercado San Miguel is a tapas fantasy land. There were so many choices, so much variety. You could go there every day for a month and not taste all of the choices. I can't wait to see your video of Barcelona, another beautiful city. Thanks for sharing.
I love going along with you vicariously on your travels!!! I’ll never get there but you make me feel like I’m experiencing it because of the way you are so real about everything
I’m glad to live vicariously through Rapha’s videos. While I’d love to travel, I’ve only been outside of the U.S. to Mexico (once for four days) for my sister’s wedding about 5 years ago. I can say the best churros I’ve had were the ones from Disneyland, but everything seemed to taste better back then.😂
Wow Rapha, I've been watching you for so long now. I just remembered your appartement in the UK with a small kitchen and a 2 burner stove. Look at you now ❤
Great video Raphael! I feel like i am with you traveling. That Palace was amazing. I have to try duplicating that Mortadella sandwhich. Looks delish. Congrats on over 2 million subscribers! You deserve it.
Love your videos, I have never been to Spain, but would love to go. Yes, its important to know the local language when on travels. Even a small phrases help! I was in love with some of the local pubs & shops in Germany and felt like a local when I spoke to them in German (Hoch and some Plaat) instead of English:-) OK I was born in America, 5th gen, but come from strong German/Pomeranian ancestry. And yes, 40 c is HOT to endure without beer. LOL.
If what you had was "jamón de bellota ibérico" over at El mercado de San Miguel, that price sounds about right, the whole leg can range from 200 to 800 €, also, the slices are cut so thin because it's supposed to be easy to eat, to like "melt" in your mouth and let you appreciate the taste at its best, thick pieces can be difficult to chew and swallow (also, thinner pieces lets you appreciate the quality of the jamón better?? but if you are no expert this fact its like meh)
HIIIIII BABE I LOVE YOU. WHY DONT PEOPLE LIKE THIS MASTERPIECE YPUR ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!! I DIDLIKE NEW YORK BECAUSE THEY WERE RUDE TO YOU WHEN YOU BOUGHT THAT EXPENSIVE PIZZA ! IM GLAD THIS COUNTRY WAS NICE TO YOU!

Your comment about the statues that represent the colonization of America - I'm guessing lots of countries have kind of tone deaf, insensitive stuff. People still have weddings at plantations (where slaves did forced labor) in the South because "the property is so beautiful!!" So..... yeah.
