Indeed is not a good platform for finding a job as a teacher. Education Canada and apply to education are the two website which flash vacancies in the government sector. As far as the private schools are concerned one gets the post of an assistant teacher and for that also one needs to work hard. I am OCT certified teacher and I am still finding a job. Private sector is not a sector that you can think of always being a part of. If you ask the steps you need to start as a volunteer and then become an assistant teacher. Now getting the assistant teacher position is also not easy. After you have worked as an assistant you may get a full time position but that depends on when do they have a vacancy. So in short if someone is thinking of working as a full time teacher in Canada, it will take you around 8 to 9 years.

As a matter of fact, you can even apply for OCT certification without COPR. In the OCT application, they ask for SIN but if you contact OCT and tell them you are not in Canada yet, they give you a temporary number to enter in that field.

Yes, you can. Just go on their website and click on becoming a teacher > applying > apply now. You will have to fill out your details and settle their fees. After some time you will receive the list of documents for you to upload or to arrange for the relevant institutions to send them directly to the college. They will process everything and get back to you afterwards.

Forget OCT, I taught in Ottawa for 4 years without a BEd. Yeah I needed networking to land in a job and then my ability to teach Canadians.

What is your educational background? For Express entry it has to match with your profession.
