i don't have the option of accessing "emergency backup" and i have corrupted date for recovery
are there any alternatives?
i've been able to do the basic factory reset only
i have the same issue. it's not showing the option "update mode". there is just 1. "Reboot system now", 2. "Wipe data/Factory reset", 3. "Wipe cache partition" and 4. "Safe mode". i did the factory reset but i cant do the update step, maybe its because an older android version

I got a huawei nova 3i that I had try to reset but faced the issue of not being able to input yes into the recovery menu.
Then , following some tutorial on gsm-forum I flashed thr device with MRT but the phone has gone dead ( keeps booting into recovery). I then read the buuld number and download 2 updates with exact region and all but nothing works. What have I done wrong? What should be my next move? 😭😭

No, it means your phone has latest firmware installed. And you have to downgrade firmware first and then this method will work.

How do you downgrade if the phone is frp?
@@PascalVilleneuve FRP lock doesn’t have anything to do with firmware upgrade or downgrade.
@@frp it’s just that all instructions to downgrade I found was for phones that were not frp and had access to Home Screen and settings
