Salah needs to be kept on his toes, which is partly why Darwin was brought in. Mo has had seasons where he disappeared, just as he’s had seasons where he got too cocky and acted like Pogba. Knowing all this, Liverpool’s management found the perfect solution by keeping Salah in a state of uncertainty, which has pushed him to deliver outstanding performances. Isn’t that clear?
only must thing for summer is geting new starting lb by replacing one of the two , if slot dont trust one of quansah endo darwin chiesa elliot , they will get sold and a replacements will be bought , same for the three of taa vvd and mo if they leave , this is perfact number of players and we dont need more and nothing is thaat critical that cant wait till the summer
Chiesa is being played in bit by bit. Look at the last few games. Lots of goals and assists from subs. No doubt he has the quality to be cover for Salah.
There are 4 decent CBs at the moment in the squad. They will promote from the academy if needed. Only if one of the 4 leave Liverpool will buy a readymade player to slot in. We need cover at LB. Robertson is fading away pretty quickly and is off the pace this season
To replace Salah, I'm not convinced by Adeyemi, he hasn't shown that he can be world class IMO. Bowen would be good but not on Salah's level and he's not that young. Mbeumo however is phenomenal and would be a good option. Kulusevski would be great too but Tottenham would ask for a ludacrous amount most likely. Saka is unavailable, same for Yamal yet those are the two that can really reach Salah's level. For Bakayoko, I haven't seen enough. He's good but is he that good? idk Kudus could play there and be very good aswell, but there aren't that many great right wingers, especially if you want one that is left footed. As a center back, I agree we DO need one no matter what. Murillo and Milenkovic are both very good options. Guéhi is a good pick too. Bastoni from Inter and Araujo from Barça could be available, Araujo especially. There's also Ignacio from Sporting who's very good, Konsa would be a good backup, Zabarnyi is a great player and I'd love him to come, Scalvini from Atalanta is very young and already really good, same for Silva from Benfica, Lukeba from Leipzig is impressive, Diomande from Sporting looks great, Balerdi from Marseille... There are plenty of good young center backs that we could aim for. And I don't agree that Real Madrid is too big to refuse. They have more UCL but so what? They're not better than us, and they could very well decline given the age of their defense and struggle in midfield. He can become a Liverpool legend. If he goes however, Kimmich would be an interesting choice. Like TAA he can play right back or midfielder and his experience would be great. But I don't see another right back that could be at that level. For left back, as you said Robinson and Kerkez are good options. Alphonso Davies will be free though and the club is exploring the possibility. There are not many other possibilities that are realistic. Lewis Hall would be perfect but Newcastle will ask for 100m at least lol. Maatsen is very good too but he's at Villa. Hancko could be good And as a striker, Isak would be perfect for us but it seems unliekly. THen as you said Gyokeres, David and Thuram are interesting and the club is talking to them. Scamacca, Openda, Nkunku or Joao Pedro could be good. But I really want all 3 to stay. The best right forward in the world, the best center back in the world, and one of the best right backs and a homegrown player from the city with a unique style that is so great to look at, he's irreplaceable. I'm looking froward to seeing Mamarsashvili at the club though ! Even though his arrival probably means that Kelleher is leaving. But I understand, he can't be number 1 while he's one of the best keepers in the league, he could be number 1 at Chelsea, Newcastle, Brentford, Fulham or all the smaller PL clubs ! No wonder he wants to be number 1 he's a great GK.
For cdm, I think Andre onana from Everton would fit really well, he can defend like gravenberch, not as good as gravenberch rn ofc but still great, he is calm in control, and goes out of pressure easily like busquets
His output has actually dropped since late December and performances have been nightmarish. He fell off last season after January. It's all well and good saying he looks after his body, but the underlying numbers when the season ends tell you the full story. Fans mention his lactate test, but that measures cardio not fast twitch which is what matters more in a dynamic sport like football. Those muscle fibres diminish as you age. A 33 yr old athlete just doesn't match up to a 23 yr old in that regard. Just a look at his pressing numbers year on year tells you what you need to know here. If his output tails off again this season like last season, there's a pattern and I don't see him getting the contract terms he is demanding. Maybe a year, but 3? Forget it.
@SimplySmythe when I made the video buddy they weren’t at 1:1. The wages VVD would want would still too be much as you can clearly see them still struggling to register players. Please don’t speak on topics you aren’t educated on

Adeyami would definitely be a perfect match in Slot ball

Liverpool needs CB's since Matip leftwe haven't had a real alterative option in defense

Mbuemo is always 32 in my brain
De Jong should go to Liverpool asap.
His wages are really high and he's had too many fitness problems in recent years. But if he could stay fit and take a pay cut he'd be a great fit
I truly think Chiesa could replace Salah. I think his potential is huge.
If every player that we own goes on a free the crash out would be biblical
For cdm, I think Andre onana from Everton would fit really well, he can defend like gravenberch, not as good as gravenberch rn ofc but still great, he is calm in control, and goes out of pressure easily like busquets
That’s not his name
"Andre is not even my name mate💀"
its amadu and he went to vila
Yall I'm so sorry I got confused between amadou and andre
Like busquets?!?!?!? Rlly?!?!?!
Mark Hughes is really bull shite. 😂😂
