I'm truly happy for you sam. I love how excited you are about rebuilding the motor in the s15 and switching to team DW for your fuel issues. Suspension wise the s15 is solid so i see only great things ahead for you
The flip side is, when you welded the crack, you retensioned the inside bead which changed the shape of the wheel... so... at least you got some use out of it between drinks... its a good thing the bead seal didn't open up while you were driving I suppose... phew.
Sam if you ever become a tour guide for car enthusiasts of Japan, yosiho factory, sukuba circuit, your drift circuit, the nissan place the list goes on you would be a really cool guide yes and that car park? obviously in the off season let us know ps: cant wait for the build on skyline

Its crazy how Sam has been able to influence Oka-Chan with more modern and some non-JDM brands like Link and Garrett. Love my Garrett btw even though its a baby turbo lol
Td06 turbos are about 30years old technolgy. 200% imrpovement in 10 years would be mindblowing. Furthermore good customes turbo where as good in the mid 90ies as the garrett g25.
I would get it ceramic coated one sweet looking exausht manifold with the G25 its going to be amzing. I think I will check out the the RB25 manilfold for my cefiro Im buying when I get to Malaysia for my new job.

Cheaper aftermarket wheels are totally fine if they're made to the right specifications i've never had any more trouble with cheaper brands than I have bigger name brands, if you hit any of them the right way they'll crack or break the same. The real crap wheels are those Chinese replica OEM wheels like the BMW, VW/Audi, Mercedes etc copy wheels they're usually really cheap soft alloy .
Genuine wheels do break and crack but the difference between that and some cheap shit is the wheel stayed together and didn’t explode like a cheap wheel would have
