Really impressive stuff-- I'm working on a roll-axis gimbal for a session-sized camera specifically for FPV at the moment. A slip ring for the IMU wiring to allow for unlimited rotation and a much beefier motor placed exactly on the central axis of the motor has been working wonders at keeping up with aggressive movements. Thanks for posting the results. I found it interesting. It looks like the software of the gimbal is the limiting factor.
Maybe one day, the programmers from Feiyu Tech come up with a software update. Technically, it should be possible to track the horizon better.

On the first flight it looks like you broke it. But on the comparison flights the DJI with Gyroflow beats it hands down. Nice fluid movements as long as it’s kept steady and no abrupt movements like flips and rolls. Excellent work.

Very cool. Can’t wait to see where this goes in the industry. Maybe DJI will come up with a new Osmo Gimbal that is better? Maybe not. Time will tell the industry is constant evolving.

I'm surprised the gyros don't fight more. The FC doesn't expect the weight to be shifting like it does due to the camera and the camera doesn't expect the platform to do the things it does. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if there we already naked BMPCC cameras flying on jerry rigged gimbals with props.
