    This was a great vlog. The bridge was awesome, but my favorite was Eve dancing and the edit of the bus driver. Andrew is also always such a pleasure. I love listening to the inner workings of his mind. He'd be an amazing teacher or philosopher or scientist.
    And LOVE the Insta stories. ♡

    Can I point out something funny.... yet absolutely terrifying? Megan, while you were talking about being SO WORRIED about Jude falling off the bridge, Eve was sitting on the bench behind you and that bench had a HUGE GAP in it!! From my point of view, she could have EASILY fallen straight down into the sea! As a paranoid mom, I was terrified watching this! I may be a bit irrational as well... Just like you, Megan. Lol. It comes with the territory I guess. Being a mother isn't easy. And I only have TWO kids. ❤️ ❤️❤️

    • @Iheartampersands
      @Iheartampersands 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I was thinking that too but I'm also ridiculously paranoid about heights. I have nightmares about my kids falling from heights. Actually, it's not JUST my kids. One night I pounced on my husband in his sleep because I was having a nightmare and for some reason thought he was falling off the side of the bed LOL.

    • @lesleymetjohnlegend
      @lesleymetjohnlegend 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "She could have EASILY fallen down into the sea". That's a bit of an exaggeration, she would have had to be horizontal, rolling with arms pinned to her sides to fit through that gap. How anyone could fall into that position is beyond my imagination. If you're going to worry about such ridiculous possibilities you'd never do anything. They're giving all their kids a fabulous life, I don't think there's any good reason to find fault here.

    so I do not know if anyone has possibly given this explanation and excuse me if you knew this info---here it goes the pottery that Daniel found could possibly come from ships. In olden time ships carried pottery as ballest. When they did not need it any longer they would throw the plates and dishes overboard.

    Start collecting a rock from each place you visit making sure to label them. My Grandpa did this everywhere he traveled throughout his life. I inherited most of the collection which became more sentimental when my daughter was born and her middle name is his name. She started picking up and collecting rocks around the age of 18 months.

      +Kate M - that’s a great question! They both have their advantages and disadvantages. We do miss the RV because it had our stuff and it was familiar with our beds and our “house” no matter where we went. BUT it was so tiny and so inconvenient for long term life for a family our size. We loved Airbnb’s for their big rooms and big kitchens and all of those things. But sometimes the beds are hard and the bathroom is weird or on and on. There isn’t any way for us to travel in the RV in Europe but if we had a tiny family we might still be doing it!

    fun fact: I got my leg stuck on one of the planks a few years ago and panicked... this is the reason why i hate bridges and heights :P

  • @SharonCullenArt
    @SharonCullenArt 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ya know my mother was the Same way. She would go on and on with her fears about heights to the point that I Egan having nightmares as a kid and now as an Adu I’m afraid of heights. I’m only telling you this because I’ve seen the reaction your kids have when you’re doing this. It can have lasting effects. You may think oh I’m not that bad, but when I listen to you it brings it all flooding back to me. Eve was freaked out, your older daughter Esther (I think it is) had a hesitated look on her face. I love your videos, and I hope you don’t think I’m complaining. I’m only telling you what I went through. I now have trouble with open back stairways where I can see through them. I can’t climb up a lighthouse tower, glass elevators, and it was all because my mother would yell to my siblings things like that’s dangerous make sure you hold onto your sister. Or that’s too high come down before someone falls, why are we doing this...but I wasn’t scared at all either. Not until years and years of it went on with my moms fears. Children look to their parents for safety. Yeah I probably couldn’t do it at least not at this point in my life.
    And those rocks were so cool. They looked like carved towers. I wonder how that happened.
