鎮魂 ~魂を繋ぐ神々の国~

東京で生まれ、幼い頃からダンスに明け暮れ、京都の大学で舞台芸術を専攻した時に石見神楽に出会った窪田真菜さん。石見神楽から伝わる緊張感や優しさ、愉快さに魅了され、島根県にやってきました。島根に伝わる神話を礎として、人々がそこに魂を宿し、後世へ語り継ぐことで、人と風土、人と人とを繋いできた人々が演じる石見神楽は格別で、神楽を舞う窪田さんの島根に対する理解を深めてくれました。
自然と溶け合いながら舞う石見神楽は、人の魂も自然の一部であることを気づかせてくれます。目に見えないものの畏怖と感謝の念が人と場所に根付いている。そんな”神々の国”で窪田さんは舞い続け、魂を繋ぎ続けます。
神秘で緊張感が漂う島根のエネルギーを体に受け、そのエネルギーそのままを筆に込めた、書道家憲真さんの”稲佐の浜　書道パフォーマンス”は、夢現で現実と神々の世界が溶け合う世界観を表現しています。

Born in Tokyo, Mana Kubota dedicated her childhood to dance. While majoring in performing arts at a university in Kyoto, she encountered Iwami Kagura. Captivated by its blend of intensity, gracefulness, and joy, she made her way to Shimane Prefecture. Iwami Kagura, performed by those who pass down the myths of Shimane, embodies the spirits of the people and the land, connecting individuals and their surroundings. These performances deepened Mana’s understanding of Shimane and its cultural essence.
Through Iwami Kagura we are connected with nature, reminding us of our existence in the natural world. A sense of reverence and gratitude for the unseen is rooted in the people and places of Shimane. Mana continues to dance in this sacred environment, weaving a tapestry of connected souls.
Meanwhile, calligraphy artist Kenshin channels Shimane’s mystical, tense energy into his brush. His “Inasa Beach Calligraphy Performance” captures the ethereal blend of reality and the divine, expressing a dreamlike world where the human and celestial realms converge.
