you wouldn't as merseyrail trains are counted as national rail, they run on national rail lines and would have to be seperate to other metro trains
I believe by the term "metro" they are talking about a metro REGION train service, stopping at even more regular intervals than a regional / commuter operator, and NOT a london underground style line. This is evident in a lack of tunnels, and many viaducts and elevated sections, as well as the stations being close together AND standard gauge tunnels and tracks. A "metro" style train service does not always mean underground....
The « Region Metro » is the Stepford Connect. If there an Region Metro, this will be useless. I like the idea of an Tramlink to have a little train into the City.
Very good video! As you were saying that Waterline is Benton's metro it does run underground for quite a while in between Airport West and Farleigh. Stepford City could do with something like that for sure

you wouldn't be able to have an s stock and tyne and wear metro car running on the same line, because they have different loading guages. The S stock uses the same as national rail while the Tyne and Wear uses lower platforms.

Proposal: Make the Class 357 and Class 360 (Free Trains) be unlocked with Experience. While the Noobs are not able to use Stepford Connect, they may be able to make use of Stepford Metro. All Trains on Stepford Metro will be free but all except the S8 Metro Trains will need to be unlocked with Experience, however the number of Experience you will need to unlock said trains is lower than the Experience needed for Class 357s and 360s (Example: 357 (60 Experience), 1996 Stock (30 Experience, most expensive Stepford Metro stock). This Proposal will make use of Experience as currently it’s only purpose is to allow drivers to become dispatchers, dispatchers become guards, etc. If this proposal is approved, Experience will also be able to be used as a secondary point system with the only difference being that Experience doesn’t go away when purchasing a Train using Experience to pay for said Train.
Won’t happen
It won’t happen because it can take people days or even weeks to grind that 60 experience in SCR. The only way to obtain experience is terminating a route successfully.

If there was a new metro in scr, it would begin at beechley, then go via financial quarter and victoria, then into the south of stepford, then probably into greensland and/or Morgantown and then terminate. The loop is not a good idea in my opinion anymore, i think that connect and metro should be separate, and connect have different electrification
you would need both pantographs and 3rd rail if you want to include S stock and Tyne and Wear at the same time

U don’t need third rail 465 and some other trains in SCR use Third Rail
