  • Greetings, dear friends! I share my experience of crocheting frog hat
Below you will find a short description and calculation of the decreases. If you liked the video lesson, please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, SHARE WITH FRIENDS and write comments.
It will also be interesting for me to see the finished works related to this master class, so follow the link to my instagram and send your photos

    Finished product dimensions:
    elastic band length 160 cm
    elastic band width 6 cm
    depth (without elastic) 15 cm
    Description:
Cast on a chain of 3 loops.
Knit single crochet through back loop , making one increase at the end of each row until a set of 11 columns, then knit about 220 rows without increases, then in each next row, make decreases along the edge until there are 3 loops. Cut the thread.
From the center of the tape in both directions, count 48 loops and pick up a row of single crochets from them = 96 loops. Take more loops if you necessary.
Next, knit slip stitchs through back loop. Do this for 20 rows.
    Distribute 5 placemarks.
Knit reductions according to the scheme:
row 21 (wrong side) - start the row by knitting the first slip stitch in the 3rd loop = 1 decrease = 95 (sl st)
    row 22 (front) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 89 (sl st)
row 23 (ws) - no decrease = 89 (sl st)
    row 24 (fs) - 5 decreases = 84(sl st)
    row 25 (ws) - in the 3rd loop = 83(sl st)
    row 26 (fs) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 77(sl st)
    row 27 (ws) - no decrease = 77(sl st)
    row 28 (fs) - 5 decreases = 72(sl st)
    row 29 (ws) - in the 3rd loop = 71(sl st)
    row 30 (fs) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 65(sl st)
    row 31 (ws) - no decrease = 65(sl st)
    row 32 (fs) - 5 decreases = 60(sl st)
    row 33 (ws) - in the 3rd loop = 59(sl st)
    row 34 (fs) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 53 (sl st)
row 35 (ws) - no decreases = 53 (sl st)
    row 36 (fs) - 5 decreases = 48(sl st)
    row 37 (ws) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 42(sl st)
    row 38 (fs) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 36(sl st)
    row 39 (ws) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 30(sl st)
    row 40 (fs) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 24(sl st)
    row 41 (ws) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 18(sl st)
    row 42 (fs) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 12(sl st)
    row 43 (ws) - in the 3rd loop + 5 decreases = 6(sl st)
    row 44 (fs) - 3 decreases = 3(sl st)
Now you need to sew mid. Not until the end.
Try on hat when knitting. you can add several rows or loops.
After you have knitted the hat, wash it and shape it. Pull it slightly.
Hope this is a clear explanation╰(*°▽°*)╯
