14 and half yrs later Benoit still has this indelible mark in wrestling. People still find themselves rewatching old videos and new content is being made about him. Testament to how good of a performer he was. Anyone else would have been long forgotten

You got a point. If it were some one else who wasn’t as dedicated to the business like him, there wouldn’t be much mention of the wrestler. However, we acknowledge the performer Chris was. So we still mention him to this day. Really sucks what happened.
@@HMBRTOABLE It’s because of his dedication that likely resulted in becoming who he did and what he eventually did. Then you take into the consideration what the business is and what it was like before.
Anyway, he was still big enough in the business to still be talked about despite what he did. The same thing would happen if someone like Eddie, Angle, HBK, or just one of the big guys had turned out the same way which I’m glad they didn’t.
Chris Benoit sure had a good move set. I enjoyed playing as him in No Mercy and SmackDown Here Comes The Pain.

I'm surprised the Wii couldn't handle the SVR games but the Gamecube could handle a game like day of reckoning I guess they got lazy port it in to wii
@@kokotheclown2588 Gamecube was technically more powerful than PS2. And, the Wii was basically a souped up Gamecube. If anything, the Wii should've ran those games better.
@@Dick_Valparaiso yeah the Wii could handle games like Mario party 9 and Xenoblade and the conduit's it's basically 2 Gamecubes fused together but they just ported the ps2 titles to Wii which makes no sense I wish we got the reckoning series on Wii and pushed the console to its graphical limit

Chris Benoit may have been a monster in those hours between the murders and his death, but the tests and scans show that he had extensive brain damage which had destroyed his frontal lobe (responsible for reasoning). Chris suffered in a different way. He was (before the psychological outburst) an icon of the business and a loving father and husband. Almost 14 years on and people still can’t understand and sympathise for both sides.
Daniel would have been 20 going on 21 right now.

He was a victim of the physical effects of the job, as we have seen with a few other wrestlers such as Jimmy Snuka whom, may we remember was also suspected of killing Nancy Argentino. He’s still referenced, the only difference is that where Chris perished as a result of his mental health by committing suicide, Snuka used it as a way to not be prosecuted. Daniel was the biggest loss out of all of this, and whilst Chris may be the physical cause, it was an unstable mind damaged for our entertainment that was the root of it.

Thank you for doing this. The Benoit tragedy was obviously a horrific incident, but Chris's entire legacy should not be lost because of it. He had a metal breakdown, it should be remembered, but it shouldn't be all he's remembered for.
And the wwe is nasty for not acknowledging that the work they had him do and lifestyle that came with it wasn’t any helpful!

Plus the fact that wwe doctors would allow wrestlers to figbt through injuries and provide steroids if asked. I feel like the wwe should hold themselves somewhat accountable to what became of him

Benoit's character was consistent through his entire career: a big, mean bruiser that could get very intense if pushed. That Benoit was less than 6 ft tall didn't matter: it seemed he could beat anyone or they would be in for a helluva match to beat him.

He was a part of history so to remove him in the case of a "remaster" will be sad as that'll be an injustice if the history of that specific game doesn't have those who made it what it is
