  • The 1st Cloverleaves started to appear as far back as the 1920s in America and Germany. Redditch's very own Cloverleaf Interchange or A448 (Bromsgrove Highway), A441 (Alvechurch Highway) and A4189 (Warwick Highway). is now only one of two that exist in the UK. Built as part of the Redditch New Town road system. The Road system was designed to allow the rapid flow of large volumes of traffic around various districts and into the town centre, whilst keeping fast moving vehicles separated from residential streets.

    as far as I'm concerned the road system is a complete failure. Failed consideration for lower speed limits has resulted in high levels of pollution and noise in Redditch, with 5 70 mph dual carriageways
