Thank you, very helpful, my 09 ss cruse and third brake light isn't w, bulbs are good which if one is out the cruse doesn't work, disconnected the battery for a cruse control reset, no go, haven't changed the brake switch under the pedal yet and the speed sensor is connected to the cruse, all fuses are good plus the relay switch is good, gonna check for connection on the speed sensor and or replace, ALL these things are linked to one another and one of them doesn't work none of them do. @@marvelman862010 I have to get my car inspected and got pulled over Friday night for the third brake light thankfully no ticket just a warning and worked on searching it for about four hrs yesterday before it got dark and the a friend that has a car like mine and knows more about them said to check the speed sensor connection and that's my next check after work before buying and replacing parts. On the Cobalt forum someone said that if your car is on cruise and you push in the clutch pedal too long it'll turn the cruise off and sometimes disconnecting the battery for about twenty minutes will reset it but no go and also while you're driving pull up on the brake pedal with your left foot and if the cruise starts working the brake switch under it needs to be adjusted which I also need to try so hopefully any people finding your channel maybe it will help them or you as well. Why these things are connected on one circuit is beyond me.
@@rockyjefferson5598 All i did is disconnect negative side of battery. Disconnect harness to PCM. Give 5 to 10 min reconnect harness and negative battery. This did the trick. Start shifting normal.

That is the right side of the car. The car is facing you when your in front of it looking at it. Your right is it’s left.

Got a 2006 chevy cobalt. Speedometer is stuck at zero. Doesn't shift gears. Do you think it could be a faulty speed sensor ?

Where is the input speed sensor. We know it’s on top of the transmission but don’t know where. I also have a 2005 Chevy cobalt.
