Im struggling with this, i was able to enable superuser on my cerbo. And made my usb to ttl cable. Im able install venus data.tgz, but still no luck on making my jk bd bms to communicate with my cervo gx
Ok have you enabled two way comunication in the cerbo in the settings . Check you have 3volts on the both tx cables coming from the jk bms . And make sure to reboot the cerbo after installing the driver . You'll get there but sometimes like me you just have to fiddle with it 👌 are you in Australia because some models have different features depending where there going and who originally ordered them from China
@@AirIswhenibreathe hi there . Did you install the driver from github ? There is install instructions on that page to help out . The cerbo dose need some extra programming aswell that i forgot to mention . My video is manly just for the connecting cables .

Was only designed to connect to computer until some people at github developed a driver so it could work with victron vrm software . That's all you can do with this jk rs485 device that i know of . Get jk inverter bms version 15 for direct connection to inverter , this is the newest one they are selling . Not all inverters work with it though so you would have to check compatibility
That file is a driver that was developed by a man named Louis and the community there at github . This driver is the only way certain types of jk bms's and many other brand bms's can communicate with the victron software like in the cerbo gx . On the dbus-serialbattery page on github there's all the info you need , like compatible bms's and all the things you need and the way to install the driver 👍 it's free but i donated them some money through paypal as i though it was well deserved 👍 hope this answers your question
