Someone close to y/n, like a friend or a sibling dies during the final battle. They had planned to do a lots of things together after defeating Muzan. Y/n has a living family, but since she and that dead person used to work at a place far away from their hometown, even before joining the slayers, they don't know anything about demons or demon slayers. So y/n at first felt almost nothing after encountering that person's death. After the corps was disbanded she went back to her hometown and very slowly started losing her sanity. She started mistaking other people for that person and hallucinating stuffs. Nezuko/Kanao first met her at Butterfly mansion and they used to interact sometimes there. Familiar people who are alive from the corps communicated with them from time to time, but they notice y/n is missing. Then they go looking for her and find her in her hometown, in that situation.. They and y/n have a platonic relationship.
