The first unified emperor of China 秦始皇 Chin Shi Huang/Qin Shi Huang or 始皇帝 Shi Huang Di which literally means The Original/First Emperor.
Not the first king, he was the first emperor of China.

He emilinated other smaller Kingdoms, replaced "the son of heaven", united the country. He dicided to change his title from King to Emporer, and let the central goverment rule the whole country directly, instead of setting kingdoms.
An empire can have many kingdoms within it; the emperor rules the entire empire while kings (or queens) rule smaller kingdoms within the empire.
While the king (like the regional manager) has total control over his territory, the emperor (like the CEO) is the one who makes the final decision for the entire region.@@niteshmeena3150

I heard another story of these terracotta army statues, that when the king came to know that some other kingdom wanted to attack on his kingdom he ordered to build these statues with unidentical faces and placed them strategically in front of his castle/town, then place the real soldier in the front. So that from distance it seems that there is a huge army stand guarding the castle/town. Because the king (Qin Shi Huang) has much smaller army compare to the attacker. So this was a trick to be in a strategic position. Don't know the truth, but this is an interesting story I heard apart from what is written in the Wikipedia.
I have studied Archaeology and Ive also studied the Han Dynasty. Thank you for showing the TC warriors, Navankur.
The Archaeology field in India has a Longggggggg way to go in terms of funding, infrastructure,awareness and accessibility to the public. I hope the so-called leaders of this country can make it happen because the vastness and the richness of India's archaeological past is quite commendable. But it has to be separated from the religious BS and politics.

Qinshihuang is the first Emperor of China in history, who unified 7 big kingdoms and other dozens of small kongdoms, Qinshihuang ordered people to build the teracotta worrirors for his leading them to continue to conque in the other world when he died.

Come on, Navankur! You missed such a good opportunity. This place needs about half day with guide and to be started with as soon as they open, followed by visit to Huaqing palace.
About those statues outside at houses, those are all replicas and not original. I am 100% sure about it. I have some good Chinese friends in Xi’an who confirmed this.
Also, please show some little respect to the way you talk about their names. That typical sound of Chinese you made is not how they speak. You did like how westerners make fun of us Indians. You could have put some least effort and could have spoke about it bit more properly without sounding racist.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang are the burial pits outside Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum. It is about 5% of the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang.
