IIRSM Wales Branch - Chair announcement

A proud, proud announcement
It is with pride I can officially announce that I have been handed the baton as Chair of the IIRSM Wales Branch.
A huge thank you to Steve Bergiers the previous Chairman of ten years, and also Haydn Brittain (Vice Chair) and Mark Littlejohns (Secretary).
As someone who has been a protector of others to the extent of nearly loosing my life on multiple occasions, I very much doubt the next two years as Chair will place my life at risk (unless Steve has failed to tell me something!), but I can assure you I will give my all.
If you are a member of the Wales Branch, please contact me direct as I am setting my first objective as initiating regular 'fire side risk chats' over Zoom with Branch Members.
ISO 31000 Guidelines for managing risk
A common theme of my tenure will follow 'Operational Risk Management' risk through the lens of ISO 31000, and in the risk subject areas of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality, HR, Business Continuity and Crisis Management.
