Nice , I like those rear treads , it kinda looks like understated " Don't Screw With Me " vibe . The two tone paint is inspired , simple and clean . Don't see many like it . ❤😊 So , ok, after seeing the other vans , yours stands out , once I see it I can't unsee it . Some vans look like a work in progress , I understand , mine looked rough for about 7mo. before I could afford a pro. paint job . I see alot of shiny chrome wheels , I kept stock wheels painted gloss black with baby moons .
I once had a 78" Ford 150 Econoline Van , painted Treasure Gold with Baby Moons and 2×6 Oak bumpers . Carpeted with a cool looking swirly pattern and a backseat that flipped down into a bed . Blue dot tail lights ( cops gave me hard time, but no tickets ) fog and rally lights . A Lear 8- Track player Jenson 3 way speakers ( still made in England ) , and a fine tuned 300 cid straight six with a Hush Thrush exhaust system . A very cool ride . When my knees went bad I traded it for a Dodge mini van . Big mistake . It gave me nothing but trouble . In hindsight I could have put in a automatic trans. and a couple of Captain seats . In those days I was " Young & Dumb " .That van was parade worthy . When I think of all the time I spent banging out dents , filling and sanding and fabricating panels , I must'a had a " Brain Fart" to trade it . Refer to hindsight . I got it for $ 1, 000.oo in 85" .
Neil Young's "Tonight's the Night" would be the perfect soundtrack to this. Loved seeing the 4x4 Chevy and the A-Team tribute! I must have missed the Mystery Machine.
