1. One can rent a condo for 8000 to 10000 baht. Utilities cost are calculated separately in Thailand, usually. There are many these type of condos where U-students staying. 2. Take a motorcycle taxi or the BTS/MRT to avoid the Bangkok jam. Motorcycle taxi operators are legalised and they wears standard jacket. 3. Do not take taxis during peak hours. Taxis drivers usually refuse to take passengers through ‘heavy jam’ areas. Many corners you turn there’s jam. 4. One can take the MRT (metro) in Suvarnabhumi airport to town direct (Phya Thai station).
You are a young man who is smart and brave enough to leave England, which is far from Thailand. I have been following your clips all along. I liked the first few clips because you have a positive view of Thailand and want you to stay here for a long time. Thai people love you
Courage is likely not the word his mum would use. Tens of thousands of men have gone there thinking it was heaven on earth. Many have shared their happy stories here, while a few have shared what happened to them once things were not going well. For a young guy who may not be lured in by bar girls (hookers), it can surely be great, but it’s s different culture and most people find out the hard way sooner or later.
Great video thank you mate. Will be making the move myself soon as a slightly older man than you and I am burning with excitement but is always good to hear about other peoples experiences and perspectives.
Thank you Sam. you shine positivity, love it. Great Videos. keep them coming, Lad :) I love Asia, love Thailand - Country, Food, Girls, People :) watching lately more and more Videos about Thailand and making my mind to spend some time there in a year as well. Been around the world many times in 20 years working on Cruise ships, and Asia, particularly Thailand is one of my favorites, along with Japan. Seeing the Cost of living and overall quality, I am more and more convinced, this is one of the places I will give a try. And I am sure it is much easier to meet cool people there than in my country Germany. Have apartment in Dubai, but from cost of life and weather, find Thailand year round more suitable for me. So, thank you again for Videos, interesting facts and tops. Make more, please :)
Hi Sam, I can relate to your enthusiasm for Thailand. When I was younger, around your age, I enjoyed Thailand too-it was a fun and lively place, perfect for young people exploring new experiences. But as I've gotten older, my tastes have shifted, and I'm now drawn to a more refined and mellow lifestyle. While Bangkok has a lot to offer, it doesn’t quite fit the slower, classier vibe I’m looking for these days. Wishing you the best in your journey!
@@amag5862 i suppose in general for most people, as we grow older, our preferences, social life, and interests tend to evolve. In our youth, life often revolves around parties, fun, and the hustle and bustle of city life. But with age, we begin to seek different paths and find fulfillment in new directions, dosent it? :)
Do you still live in Thailand? I am sure there are more chill places there suitable. I am going to 50 next year. Love more relaxed places, but is like 50/50. I think, first I will still give it a go in Bangkok. With 50 , I still want to meet new People and party maybe once in a month :)
Hi Sam 👋. Im Sam. Im also from Manny. Im 21 years old and in 11 months time i also will be relocating to Thailand. Joining me will be my best friend Theo, whos a 3 year old Border Collie!! 🐕🦺 For a source of income, i will be working remotely however ill also be creating a youtube channel about the adventures Theo and i will be getting up too! So keep doing what your doing, manny is still a shthole haha and me and Theo cant wait to join you out there!!! ✈✈
I lived two years in Thailand, but chose Malaysia, as it has all the advantages, plus people speak English and communication is also easier on a cultural level. I think it easier to really connect with Malaysian people.
@@Gold.Circle.facts, I look forward to summer in the UK every year but it’s a constant let down, there’s no sun consistency, it’s time to make changes.

Yes, you can, but the wage is very low like 12-15 USD per day. Millions physical labors are from surrounding countries like Myanmar or Laos. They have far worse condiion like civil war in Myanmar so they accept the very low income to work.
so glad you came to Thailand and not the Philippines.. but you should have gone to Malaysia.. but Vietnam would have been cheaper.. oh dear.. choice choice choice..
You've lived here for six years, so well past the honeymoon period and lends credibility. Nevertheless, do share a video when you are no longer happy here too. It's not all rosy from a Thai perspective.
Bro why are you letting the secret out! Dont go to thailand folks its not great 😂😂😂😂. Stay away go to USA its much better there 😂😂😂😂. Again dont go to Thailand or anywhere in Asia just stay in the west because its the best, NOT!😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on 10k subs! Thailand is home for me too ❤❤❤ hope you stay forever 😊
Thank you so much Emily! 💙 likewise :)

This friend is definitely living in London in a shared apartment because down South is costly compared to up north areas.
He’s in central Manchester
@@Sam_tyler_ Wow 😮, that's daylight robbery he must be living in a luxury shared flat because my house rent is less than that.
Thanks for all of the information in your videos. Could you make some content about moving with pets in Bangkok?
