Very cool looking interesting johnny lightning diecast it's good to see that you are working with round2 that's very impressive you greatly deserve it Mr Championdjk extraordinary awesome diecast weekly 👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️
A great vid for a great set. Very cool line up of cars. Just an FYI, the Monkeemobile is a modified Pontiac GTO and designed by Dean Jeffries in 1966. Do agree that the Rat Fink custom is the coolest one. Dig it! Good stuff.
Hey - once again thanks for showing this. I pre-ordered both the case set plus an extra Petty car. Can’t wait. Of course going to the Autoworld site led me to a 25 car order for stuff currently in stock. Thanks for that as well. Lol😂
Johnny Lighting isn't telling you which one is the chase. Have you heard of White lightning those are the chases they make for this brand? There is only a 2% or 4% chance per case of getting one.
I don't know why Morton Salt is considered "Pop Culture" but, on the other hand, the Morton Salt Umbrella Girl is a classic advertising icon and it's definitely interesting to see her put on a diecast car instead of the Gulf logo for the nine thousandth time. I'm at least a decade too young to have seen the Monkees when they were airing first run but Canadian Gen X'ers (and older Millennials) got to watch the Monkees in reruns on Much Music and on Musique Plus (in English with French subtitles!) back in the mid-1990s. I presume American Gen X'ers got to see the Monkees in reruns on one channel or another in the same era.
@@cleverusernamenexttime2779 I don't know if I would have enjoyed The Monkees if I had seen it in the early 1980s, I think I would've been too young to understand much of the comedy. I should also probably have specified "late era Gen X'ers", as in those of us born in the mid-to-late 1970s. Obviously, the leading edge of Gen X, born in 1965, would've already been teenagers in the early 1980s and would have got a lot more enjoyment out of reruns of the show aired then than I would have.
These will dribble down to me probably around next march !! Ive always been a JL nut ..have many OG 90s toolings ..many camaros . Love the petty ..bitd i never completed the old JL stock car legends set .its big 24 car ... you would know it if you saw it the card is like 12 inch tall .an im not even trying to be funny it is near 12 inch high hige card . The rat fink reminds me of the old OG Topper generation..pure xcrazyness.
Here's some useless info for you. Mickey Dolenz drummer for the Monkeys also played circus boy( an old tv show ) when he was a child. And that's even more before your time
I get my at Walmart they are usually a bit less expensive, Target had em 8.99 but recently dropped th price to 7.99. Still, it's expensive to get the whole set. Resale value isn't great, unless of course its a Chase.
The monkeemobile was made from a 66 Pontiac GTO by George Barris.😊😊

The Rat Fink almost looks GreenMachine LOL.

Johnny Lighting. Pop culture. 2023. Release 3
Hard to believe the monkeemobile was a GTO😊
Agreed, but GTOs were Tanks.
Beauty Escape, all the best to You Friend!
I'm a big fan of johnny lightning 🌩.
just pre-order the blues brothers police car with the horn
Oh and the card art is spectacular!🤩
Man you basically got sponsored! That’s great for you and your channel! Keep it up!
Usually a opener but that Morton salt might have to stay sealed.🥶 grew up with that in the cabinet.
That salt Mortons is legit ! Does it have a chase?
Johnny Lighting isn't telling you which one is the chase. Have you heard of White lightning those are the chases they make for this brand? There is only a 2% or 4% chance per case of getting one.
The Monkey Mobile is based of a 67 GTO. So you know you have to keep it.
Yes, the USPS Cars are based off stamps as I bought a sheet last year.
Wow! I’ll be going after the petty one for sure but I’m not entirely sure if the others. These cars are cool. The sedan looks period correct as well.
Good stuff! I've bought a couple of the Round-2 store exclusives, mostly because you pointed them out. I hope they whip out some more exclusives soon.

I watched the Monkees in the early 80's.

This is a very cool mix. My favorite is the Richard Petty. The Monkey's car is based off of a Pontiac GTO. Love the Rat Fink too.
These will dribble down to me probably around next march !!

They also make this in 1/18 scale which I plan on getting also. I have the 1/64 also
I have to have that Petty car. I collect Petty. I actually have a rare JL/Racing Champs 3 car collaboration set I posted last week on my IG post.
6:35 you could tell that Plymouth was scene from cars 2006
12:20 2005-2006. That was when a lot of the more "realistic" castings started to be designed.

Again Johnny Lighting chases are called White lightning there is only 2% or 4% chance of happening from any Johnny Lighting case.
...and still a Camaro is the best casting...
It was a gto
Not my style, but it's nice....👍
don`t really collect johnny, they have weird scales, not all 1/64, but i actually like all these
