I have a roomba too. Tip:never EVER leave them unattended. They have a mind of their own. One time we left the house and left it on and when we came back and it was missing. Later we found it in our back yard and it was still on

My mom named her small Shih Tsu/Bichon Frisse after the character from Gladiator but most look at me odd if I tell them his name is Maximus Decimus Meridius. Yes, the name is pompous but I've always waited for someone to get the reference and no one does! Grrr, it ruins the build-up!

I 100% agree! My roomba is a little troublemaker at times. He's is pretty old and doesn't have the mapping feature so we just put it in one room let it do what it has to and then put him in the next when he says he's done. He has a little brother (the iRobot Braava) who's very needy because he looses connection to his north star cube a lot and so I always have to relocate the cube and try again until he's happy. They're both very practical because they can fit under the sofa and bed but unfortunately that's also mostly the place where they decide to shut off so I have to push them out with a broom afterwards. (Roomba's docking station is out of reach because our apartment is rather small and Braava doesn't come with one)😂
Tip for hems; in Ikea you can buy this “tape” for hemming. It’s kinda thin & transparent. When ironed between textiles it glues it. I’m using it for curtains and clothes as I don’t have a sewing machine and it works great! 😁

I had one of the first gen roombas and at one point it ran into a stack of CDs on the floor, tipping them on top, and then spreading them across the entire apartment. I was very confused when I came home.
