David This video helps endlessly. It is as claimed apparently. One problem. Once my annotation is added the button 'quit edit' remains. It does not change to 'update'. Its a source of continued frustration as I cannot progress. Help please someone. Thanks

Depending upon what version of Word you are using, the reference manager could be out of date for MLA and Chicago newest editions. That's why I recommend web-based citation managers--they are up-to-date.

All annotated bibliographies are the same except the format of the citation. Yes, Harvard Style is different from APA and MLA. CiteFast does not cover Harvard. However, www.citationmachine.net does include Harvard.
Where did you copy the annotation to put into citefast for it to create the bibliography/reference for you. I thought we were using a sample online journal. We didn't write anything yet for a annotation to have been created on citefast. Kinda confused

Hi, journal articles can appear on a website, as pdfs for download, and in print. A journal article is usually written by a professional in the field and is peer-reviewed. A website may contain many types of materials. In terms of citation, only choose journal article if you're sure that it was originally published in a journal.

So, I built some annotated bibliographies and used the copy/paste option, which works great with only one citation, but for multiple citations, they were all run together and I had to manually format them. They are for an "annotated bibliography," a special type of research paper. If you aren't writing an annotated bib, ignore them.

Jouli--The annotation comes from notes taken during the research phase. CiteFast is used to make sure the citation is correct.
