He’s actually just speaking facts. Every single match OSU is involved in that coach is screaming and crying about something. He’s like the opposite of what wrestling is suppose to be about. Reminds me of a basketball coach.
You must not have watched the whole tournament. Every single coach, with exception to Cael, was fighting for their wrestler. John Smith won every challenge he threw. That’s gotta be worth something. This “whining” you kids are crying about is something we competitors call “PASSION.” You lazy bastards wouldn’t know a thing about that, though.
100% my thoughts. I question why Fix's style never "evolved" to be more aggressive on his feet. He's wrestled the same way since his freshman year (8 yrs ago). He's a great rider and is super hard to keep down, all he needed was a little more offense on his feet. It would be bold to blame coaching as the issue...but perhaps..
@@kyleballard9888it honestly seems like he got worse he used to be way more offensive and had that nasty inside trip but watching all his finals matches he never even scored an offensive point or really even attempted a committed shot
Ragusin doesn’t do anything the whole match and then wanted to bitch and complain about Fix’s corner after he loses. And everyone will take his side just cause everyone hates Fix. Pathetic.
Some might call it unsportsmanlike, but I don’t blame him for the blatant robbery it was. Ragusin was pushing the pace, and also got a stall call in the double overtime which gave him two points with an escape. Smith whined like a little bitch saying it shouldn’t have been called when personally I think it was justified. But that didn’t even matter because the scoring staff was a bunch of idiots and they tried to fix the score, but the Fix team kept playing it off like there was nothing wrong. Ragusin could’ve rode him another 9 seconds, which would’ve put riding time in his favor, winning in double overtime. But something happened with the riding time and they never fixed it. Ragusin should’ve been able to ride out for 2 seconds of riding time, but they never changed it, forcing Dylan to go on the feet for someone who’s just going to stall. Shameful that Fix makes it to another finals
@@mikedonnelly2604 I don’t see why that would change the riding time. Yes he did lock his hands, but he still rode Fix. Why would that warrant them to not count that time?
You can tell it like it is and still respect what John Smith did in his career. He’s not lying. Daton was the least active wrestler in the tournament, which is saying a lot when you have Will Lewan in the same tournament.
@@thebaseballchannel1 that’s your argument? He teched the 33 seed…literally stalled his way to the finals. Daton fix never scored an offensive point in 4 finals matches. Stop wasting my time man.
he ain't wrong, that finals match was a similar level of "whining like bitches" as well....
Is it really “whining” when the ref was reversed on EVERY challenge?
Talk about whining like little bitches in Vito cornor maybe pussies like you would get made a bitch in the wrestling room.
He's John Smith! A wrestling legend. Who are you?
A wrestling crybaby, although yes, he is a legend.
He’s my favorite wrestler now.
He ain't wrong. Smith went from world class wrestler to world class cry baby.
It’s true. We saw it in the finals where fix threw once again.
He’s so real for that though
Upset he got a locked hands call😂
I get the shade towards OK State. However, him and Vito did blatantly lock tf out of their hands. If anything good eye on ole Johnny boy, IMO.
Seen Dylan wrestle in HS in person, he's a stud, hoped he could have beaten fix.
He DID beat Fix...

Literally he was walked through the entire tournament!
Lmfao sounds like he is crying for sympathy. Not here, boy, not here.
It is strange that Fix wrestles the way he does but has John Smith as his coach.

Tbf it seems like a lot of Oklahoma state wrestlers lose aggression as they progress throughout college.

He didn't get robbed - he GAVE it away

Those are the worst coaches to deal with as refs. Like bro quit trying to win for your wrestler or just be a better coach!
Has anyone explained to him yet that all he had to do was ride for another 8 seconds and he would win 2-2 on riding time?
Since he got called for locked hands it takes away all the riding time up to that point, thats why he cut Fix
@@Th3Chuzzl3r OK, that must be what I missed, because it has not made any sense to me at all and no one else seemed to have noticed it.

Link to that interview? I can’t find it
It was posted Friday night to IllinoisMatmen; but since taken down.
Smith was crying a lil extra last weekend
hes always like that
Wrestlers just different.. he's going comeback hungry for a title next yr
Womp Womp Dont lock hand next time💀🙏
🤣😂😅 Imagine complaining about complaining, while complaining about it. Just be better kid.
Put a little respect on that son. Oklahoma state does the same thing every other team does for lobbying for points for their guys.
Facts
gotta show more respect to John
You can respect what he did as a wrestler..but as a coach he called it as it is always with him
lol when he was a wrestler he was a total loser, at least from what my dad told me when he wrestled him at nationals in 1983.
