Hey Ash, mate this is your jam🤙 Nobody else puts together event coverage like you, the professionalism you show putting together epic edits, footage, commentary, interviews etc, surpasses anything the mainstream media puts out. I believe if you followed the racing, and turned out a sweet mix of NZ dirtbike race recaps/ videos, you would fill a huge hole in promoting our motorsport. And maybe just maybe with seasonal race coverage might come investment/sponsorship from the industry to continue promoting our sport🤙🤙🤙 Keep getting after it mate👊✊️💨💨💨💨
so much to say about this championship you have down there, wow, just wow, what amazing circuits and OMG you boys go faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast - gnarly crash , thankfully soft ground
Great vid guy. Tell Bailey for me to get a Scotts stabilizer for that Honda. As I was riding with him I was watching the head shake on that Honda. Will eliminate his arm pump and blisters.
I felt that impact in my bones! Love your POV race vids, great showcase for the deep riding talent here in NZ. Question re your GoPro set up if that’s cool. I’m guessing: 4K, 60 fps, vivid, stabilised, but not superview? What is the aspect ratio as it’s spot on. Just upgraded my Hero3 to a 12 Black and I’m hunting for the best settings, a massive leap in quality. Cheers!
Give these a go mate, they still apply even to the latest cameras (this video was shot on a HERO11 with these settings): th-cam.com/video/Cathww6cTz8/w-d-xo.html
have you heard of ND filters, 90% run their go pro without one and it makes the footage look over exposed, especially in the sun. The ND filter is like a tinted piece of glass that helps reduce light overwhelming the sensor. This allows you to run the correct shutter speed and get lovely non shakey footage. I used to build racing drones with go pros so this is what i remember
@@alexfeatherstone6676 I have seen some stuff online as I’ve gone down this rabbit hole. I ride a lot in open farmland and high light environments so yep will have a further look. Cheers!
Luke Taylor #465 ripping even with a crook back that day 🤙🏼 Damn that crash was gnarly! He was flying up until then. Loving the vids man! I’m guessing the position counter in this vid was for his place in the XC2 class not in the overall as he was passing people first lap but it didn’t always get him a position on the counter?

It'd be cool if in the rider tag in the top right if you also included what class they are racing!

His bike sounds wicked in the higher revs!

Didn't realize one of my favorite TH-camrs was just down the road from me filming a video 😁
