shes guiding the horse. She is there to call commands to the horse. They are trained that way.

I understand it would be harder because of the tight circle he has to do and the small pony canter is more bouncy and it’s all together just a whole lot different. I’m a trick rider too so I know

Why don’t they wear helmets???

In trick riding it’s actually almost dangerous to wear helmets, it adds several inches to your head which isn’t ideal when you’re face to face with a horses hooves

It gets in the way and it’s adding more inches as well. It restricts them to do more if they wear helmets
