The EE Wembley Cup is back, but not as you know it. This year by teaming up with Next Level ( / nextlevelfootballleague ) we've taken the traditional football rulebook & ripped it up; more teams, faster footy & big new twists on old rules.

About the show:
The EE Wembley Cup 2018 is a seven-part football series building up to one massive live final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 25th November. EE have teamed up with Next Level to rip up the football rulebook. We’re hosting a tournament with four of TH-cam’s most talked about teams, a group stage, EE Wembley Cup Draft and plenty of big twists on old rules.

@@ryanag7473 I think the joke was that spencer kept going at them about picking people and looking at their followers when he only really gains followers and views when he picked people to bring on the show like f2, calfreezy, manny, chrismd, joeweller so him poking jokes at them for that doesn't make sense comparatively.

I thought about that too but then again, all legends are quality, but the turning point could be in picking the best youtuber in the lot.
Already thought something along those lines is going to happen. In every sport that has a draft system, the worst teams get the best drafts. Would be counterproductive to make the strongest team even stronger.
It should've been the second way throughout. It makes sense for the worse teams to get the better players and even out the playing field. Hashtag won the tourney so what logic makes them get the best player in Chris? In reality they should've gotten last pick each time

draft is a great concept and idea, made the cup way more exciting, this has to be a bigger part of next year's cup though as it only chose 2 players

XO needed a guy who can link the mid and attack and keep the ball and they needed a leader at the back.
Hashtag needed some flair in the middle.
Rebel FC needed a finisher and a genuine engine.
F2 needed a finisher and some more speed down the lines.
Tbh i didn't expect the teams to be completed so well. So well done to all of you with the picks. This is a great series.

The man played at the very top for 17 years, was an FA cup and UCL winner, former England internatinal and at 35 was ahead of the much younger Martin Skrtel in the pecking order going into the final year.
