Welcome to my channel! My name is Josephine and I am a senior in college. Over the past few years, my love for travel has increased significantly. I am very lucky to have been able to visit different parts of the Europe, the Middle East, and the US on my various school breaks. Last semester, I studied abroad in Thailand and absolutely fell in love with Southeast Asia and the backpacking lifestyle. One of the prettiest islands in SE Alaska, we lived there for 23 years, the scenery is spectacular especially if you catch it in a sunny day. Otherwise, light rain gear is a must to have with you. Would have loved to stay there forever but medical issues forced us back to the craziness of living back south. Living in Wrangell is easy but very isolating. Enjoyed the film footage, every scene was instantly recognized.

Thanks for the info! I've been living in Juneau and am thinking of checking out Wrangell. Too many people in Juneau. Lol. Can you drive from Wrangell to Thoms Place? Been researching properties down there.
Thom's Place is only accessible by boat or by trail. I don't think there's actually a trail, at least not a groomed trail down to Thom's Place. The groomed trail goes to Thom's Lake.
Really cool! Thank you for the post, especially since this year has been (by covid necessity) all virtual vacationing. I have been wanting to get to Wrangell and explore and fish (would love to fish Salamander Ck- among others), but my wife does not get as excited as I do about visiting Alaska (she has the DNA of an orchid.... that's ORCHID- not orca. LOL). Now I know where to start when I get there. THANK YOU!!
