That was great of Steve and miss him and his videos. You are really adding to that Vince Guaraldi collection. That is a nice Dylan set and one I haven't broke down and purchased. Love the Dylan vinyl you added and there are several I still wouldn't mind getting on vinyl and some that I am happy with just having the CD. I have a couple of Ron Sexsmith albums and I like them both.
Hey Sam- great finds this month! I only picked up a few things (I’ve really dialled back)….somehow missed the Amazon 3 for 2 sale 🤨 That Miles/Coltrane album looks good! Lumineers splatter vinyl looks beauuuutiful! 😎👍
Nice Dylan set with The Band. 27 cd's is a ton to get through. Highway 61 and Freewheelin' are essential vinyl pick-ups. I also purchased the Petty vinyl and cd, but (surprise, surprise....still haven't listened to it yet). Now that the World Series is over, that will give me more free time to dig into it. Awesome video Sam.
That's good you finally got the Bob Dylan & The Band "The 1974 Live Recordings" box set. After hearing them all, my favorites are Discs 1, 3 and 5 from the soundboard only shows, and Disc 17 Madison Square Garden (Jan. 30) and the third last and last The Forum, Inglewood multi-tracked shows.
@@samstjohn1994 I got the set a week after it was released. I'd throw on a show at a time as my soundtrack to surfin' the net. It's amazing hearing how some shows fall a little flat, compared to others. Even at shows at the same venue. They really seem energized on that Madison Square Garden show I mentioned and the third last and last Forum shows. You can hear why they used those concerts the most for the "Before The Flood" live album.
Hi Sam 😊 Great bunch of records there. My wants among them is of course the Tom Petty one and the only Grateful Dead I want now (apart from the ones I have). Shakedown Street I want because of the cover art. Gilbert Shelton drew one of my favorite comics, my favorite counter culture comics as it is, the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers 😊 Loved the thumbnail. Do say hi to Steve for me if you can. Have a lovely listening weekend and cheers from Morten.
@ Miss talking to him, we weren’t on the facebook level, so I’ve not said words to him since he had to shut things down. Love the art of Gilbert and of course Robert Crumb.
Wild Feathers put out another solid album! A recommendation that just came out a couple weeks ago is Benjamin Tod - Shooting Star. He's in the same vein as Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Sierra Ferrell (she sings on one song) so the more Appalachian country sound.
Great additions! That Bob Dylan set looks amazing!
It's a lot to take in but I love it!
Fantastic Dylan set! That was a fabulous Amazon sale. Ron Sexsmith! He's awesome. I used to live very close to him, before he left Toronto.
@EmbryonicRobot very cool! Sexsmith is very good! You'd like the Dylan set!

@@RandyforRoyals thanks Randy, only get that Dylan set if you are a completist, but I think it sounds awesome! The Sexsmith was a big surprise!
@@samstjohn1994 I am almost a completist.

@@richards5280 it wasn't well advertised, I'm sure there'll be stuff available on Blafk Friday. Enjoy your weekend!

The Shakedown album cover is awesome! The new Petty is so good! Steve is well, just busy with some changes. Cheers!

The Vince Guaraldi Thanksgiving CD seems fun. It's always good to see and hear about your new music 🎶
Thanks Catherine! Those Craft reissues are great.

Sierra is awesome! I'll have to check out that Benjamin Todd album. Thanks Jason!
