Donna Missal has been making big moves! If this is anyone's 1st time hearing her, pls do yourselves a favor & check out more. This isn't 1 of the best vocals I've heard from her. However she has a big voice worth listening to! Check her out! So worth it!
She is totally Awesome, I have a bunch of her songs downloaded. She doesn't get a lot of credit for how Amazing she is. Everyone should check her out on her other stuff.

Her energy took me to a a relm where music was so enveloped into the essence of passion like tasting her soul as her voice broke the earth's foundation making it spray emotions of red painting each emotions , the deeper she ate the voices of the songs energy the sky got painted into such Strom's of colours Monet never used in a painting, like she crawled into every words putting their emotions that have no words, into reality and painted the universe in vast array of musical colours even the bind can identify, the dead can hear while feeding the empty souls of the numb, giving their dark life .. I could feel her every breath as she plunged into the song as if she literally lived it's reality . So incredibly mind enticing.
I saw the fergie thing and was actually confused. I checked to see if it was actually DM and not fergie also… VEVO was way better it was so naturally powerful.
Those high notes gave me chills 😧 she’s got a rock’n’roll type voice I love it!

I found her through bishop. They are amazing. Stage presence doesnt compare with these two.
The vocal mix is fine. I think people are used to auto tuned "live" performances, its pretty much become standard so you aren't used to hearing actual live vocals. She killed it. Theres zero auto tune here. This is stellar.
It's not the vocals that are the problem, it's the guitar and drums. They are so low it's basically acapella, which makes her voice sound kinda dry and harsh, or that she is trying to be louder than the instruments.
@@InvisibleTacoMan thats probably the sound engineer and artist decision. She probably wanted the vocals on top of the mix and real raw bc yea in this day and age its TOO easy to make things sound better than they actually do. I think its cool to make this choice bc her voice is so full and strong enough to carry it. A lot of pop artist say like a Selena Gomez probably could never tbh

@@boyonceknowles the band would have complemented her voice so well if mixed properly. i think it was vital considering the structure of the melody of the song. even the acoustic version of this had the mix keeping her growls guided by guitar riffs.

her live performance is amazing 😭😭 most artists now and days can’t replicate how they they sound in the studio when it comes to certain notes but she has it down perfect. only difference is it doesn’t sound as “full” but of course that’s cuz she doesn’t have the edits. she did an amazing performance 👏🏽👏🏽

I agree with you this isn't the best performance of this song but I still love it. The first time I saw her live she was opening for Joywave and this song had me in tears! She's so raw and it gave me chills. I'm absolutely obsessed with her music and can't wait to see her get more recognition!

I've just heard this and i mean my soul and my emotions has heard..went down so deep ,penetrating every celll, like the soul felt evey word, your voice went inside my emotions and woke them all up , woke up parts of me that I have never known existed.. she went down into this song, pulled apart the emotions in each word..U have literally wrote my feelings into this song, like ink flowing in my veins.. omg.. "make me a prison throw away the key, I know what I'm missing, it's better than nothing" Lord.. those words heavy, so good ,it's bad yet wanting to be consumed by it all..such power, emotions, energy, soul, this song came from deep into soul, this broke my mind open, leveled the walls of my emotions, hmm 2:25 -2:40 Lord have mercy I'm here crying cuz i felt everything in those vocals, like the emotions couldn't stay dormant anymore, so they spilled over like a cup full of pain, hurt, trying to stay strong, wanting to level buildings, oh Lord so much emotions..so much soul..she went deep, penetrated each word.. her eyes and voice, so big.. she has such power in her voice..man that movement when she's going down the belly the deep bowls of that song... her gesticulations spoke those lyrics.. dang...that energy.. ooh...
