    These old theatre the organs ..were removed..sold cheaply..to organ buffs..broken up for parts etc..or scraped for money..this theatre had a grand organ in its life..i bet...some old theatre are lucky to have theres in tacked..they are the heart beat of these places..history..i hope these theatres keep them..its part of our past..these old places are worth saving..

    Great old theater, probably needs a lot of work now.I seen Rush there in 75' or 76' and Zappa in the late 70s!

    I peed in that one bathroom today. Boiler room is fine. Worked there last winter. Humidity still ruins the plaster. Renovation starts soon. Armed guard will be on site.

    There are now theatre organs looking for a home. The Uptown could ding again.

    If they ever reopen that threatre..i hope they instal a threatre pipe organ..it would be grand..4 m 36r....wow..like in the fox theatre..it would be a gem...of a lady..just the sound of it..but its only a dream..it seems
