Step 1: Live in Iceland. There is no such thing as a bad photo in Iceland, everywhere you point your camera to is an amazing photo.
this video was a bit longer than usual but lots of things to cover! :)
Honestly, one of the top Lightroom tutorials I've ever seen on TH-cam. Sick tips!
Many thanks!!
Editing my photos while watching this, perfect!
Perfect!
3:12 "Do whatever you want to do ... But, do it like this" :D made my day, thanks
I love how you deliver these tips, always fun!
"I slide the sliders a little bit."
Loving it man. Really dig your content. Keep it up!
Bro, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this video. I've watched it four times and every time I learn something new. Learning Lightroom has been a relatively slow process for me, and the tips you shared in this video put me on the fast track. Sick tips, for sure! Tack så mycket!
Ive been watching you for a good while and I genuinely enjoy how calming and straightforward your videos are. Keep them coming!

Sunday morning, a cup of tea and this video - perfect match!
Keep on doing this kind of videos, they are just wow! Makes me jump straight into Lightroom for editing 😁
I'm a first time visitor. I have used all of these tools at one time or another but seldom to the extent you demonstrate in this video. You have given me a lot more to experiment and work with and earned yourself my respect, a "like", and, a new "Subscriber". Thank you.
i do love your clips, you're doing a great job
Enjoyed every 25mins 😅 dehaze on radial or gradual filter can change a photo so much. I use it to balance dark and light corners of photo if needed and love it😉
Just came acorss your videos and you are AMAZING, I love your videos, thank you!
This is such an amazing video, and so well explained. Thank you so much for this one ;)

Photography tips are pretty good....but that voice is the real winner
hahah thank you!
It's like the 'Terminator' teaching Lightroom. And it's very good :D
Hi Ive been really struggling to understand Lightroom, but your tutorials really make sense to me, thankyou for tips and tricks . PS. I have few photos of the Atlantic road bridge in Norway at sunset, Ive not done anything with them, but now I can x
Instead of brushing out the mountain to customize the gradient filter, you can also go to Range Mask and put the setting on Luminace. Then press Show Luminance Mask to see the affected areas. Then you can change the two sliders.
This should speed up the process even more!! :)
Agree I also showed that! 😄
Tjena, super bra tutorial :)
Tack!
good job
Hey Bro!!! I know this video is a year ago now but still this is insane! It really help me to a lot and I learn so many things on this video! Thank you so much for making this!!!

Stopped trying to pronounce English Words, my favorite one is vocabulary... now you try it. enjoy your vids thanks dude
hahah I'll try to do it in the next video I film! :)
@@thaticelandicguy Goodluck. Again, I enjoy your channel... Side note in Afrikaans we roll the Rrrrr's just as much
Good tips indeed :)
Glad you think so!
I really like your accent. You almost sound like a bavarian talking english 😃 Greetings from germany ✌🏼
3:15 "do what ever you want to do but do it like this" has me cracking
Good lightroom tips.
Thanks!
Excellent tips my friend! Might want to fix the chapter that says 'sport' removal tool. I didn't see you removing any sports ;)
No more proper English!! Ha! I fully agree ;) I subscribed with my travel/art channel as well (you know me from The Decompression Zone...my storytelling channel). As always, super helpful and enjoyable video. Desaturating mountains makes perfect sense...just like in paintings: Further away, less intensity. Heading to Iceland on Saturday...looking forward to those hairy mounds and black beaches. I certainly will be referencing this video again once we return. Watched in full and liked (1). Thanks Arnulfur!! Marcus
Thank you Marcus! Yea I saw your last comment, just haven't gotten around answering all there :) Awesome! What will you be doing in iceland?
@@thaticelandicguy Seeing that Iceland is one of the few countries that is on the UK's "green list" of places to visit, we'll spend a week with family friends from the USA. And, needless to say, inspired by your awesome photography, I'll be creating some content. Let's see what pops out ;) . Thanks again!
Somewhere on TH-cam I saw somehow to use an eraser to lighten or brighten overly dark skies… any thoughts about that?
man i enjoy tbe accent
I have the latest version of Lightroom and there does not seem to be a mask button?? What version of Lightroom are you using?
Hi idol!! Lab your content!!
Thank you! 😁
@@thaticelandicguy ❤️❤️❤️❤️Wow I can't believe it! A reply to my idol! 💖❤️
The clarity thing... I guess it has more to do with sensor resolution/quality, wen you are using a sensor with a smaller resolution/lower quality you will search for every way possible to bring back the details that you saw and liked in person but that the camera failed to capture, but with a good sensor/high resolution you will find yourself seeing too much.
FIRSTLY,
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO TUTORIAL

Love the video! But is it just me or was there a very deep "thumping echo" in the color grading section?
Sorry about that, is it like in my voice or surrounding? I didn't notice it but my studio is in a place where there are lots of artist and other ppl who also have studios. I did notice some ppl moving some furniture but I tried to pause while they were doing it lol, could be that?
Takk fyrir þetta. Ef maður lærir eitt nýtt atriði að þá er þetta þess virði. Að taka niður Saturation í fjöllunum er eitthvað sem ég mun prófa!

Why are your palms orange? The beard I understand but the palms :D??
They are a little orange lol but it gets a little exaggerated with the color grade will have to work on that lol
@@thaticelandicguy Ok yea after watching the entire video I see it's the grading. BTW great video and tons of great tips, some I already use but some I haven't so it's great to learn new techniques. Thank you very much!
Awesome! Yea they still are a bit Orange IRL, dno why it just is, and the grade picks it up lol
am i the onlhy one who thinks he is more italian accent than a irish :)
If you know Hindi, then make a video in Hindi also.
I actually don't know hindi sorry
This was a superb video. I'm new to lightroom. I have so many photos I am going to re-edit thanks to these tips. Love the vids and thank you again. Inspired!!
