Great to see you back! The bag is lovely. I'm with you about the feet. It's a really big selling point for me. I have several bags with metal feet, some of them are now many years old, and not one of them has scratches on the bottom or any signs of corner wear.

I've noticed the drop in quality with Chanel in the past few years yet the prices keep rising exponentially! I cant bear to purchase from the boutique anymore - I'll only buy pre-loved Chanel now. I came across Mulberry recently and bought a couple of items and was nicely surprised at the lovely quality of their leather and at reasonable prices (for a high end brand).
I’m totally with you on Louis Vuitton quality decline. I’ve recently decided not to purchase anything new from them. Maybe pre-loved older models if I ever have to. And I’m happy to look into other brands (luxury or otherwise). And congrats on your new bag! I’ve seen the Loewe bags in person in Selfridges in the UK; they are GORGEOUS! sadly they are above my budget at the moment but hopefully in the future.

The top handle of the Loewe, is it comfortable and slouches easily bec I think it is better when it has softened already. Thanks in advance!

I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised with the quality. It was buttery soft and held up so well. I used it for a year quite intensively and when I sold it it looked as good as new ! Had I known the Metis would have quality issues, I would still have the YSL.

It is really smooth leather, no sturdy grain. It is definitely scratchable if you run across with sharp objects, but it’s a lot more durable than you’d think. I don’t baby my bags (don’t toss them like a maniac either though...) and mine has minor scratches that vanish with a bit of buffing. Hope it helps! Xx

Yes it is ! the light scuffs I've had are easily buffed out and there are no visible marks. Really pleasantly surprised with its quality !
Also, Loewe is owned by LVMH! So go figure... especially about quality.
