I couldn't help but smile and laugh when Kassie was talking about sibling jealousy. All I could think about was how my brother always talks about how excited he was to have a younger sibling like me that he could play with. We were really close growing up, and while now we aren't as close purely due to how busy our lives are, we're still super close.

I was three when my sister was born. I remember being quite indifferent to the actual baby, and instead I clearly recall taking the ‘It’s a Girl!’ balloon in the corner and being forced to sit still for a photo with us all while being bribed with a toy tiara.

a few days ago, when I was at my therapist with my father, he told me a story from when I was just 2 years old. So basically we were in a bakery and I got a milkbread and some kid behind us started crying because she wanted that one too, so I went up to her broke my bread in half and gave her the other half. It's really funny hearing that and now knowing now that I'm 13 years older that I never really changed much (even tho some other people took it to their advantage that I always share(d) my things with them).

When I was younger, my parents took me and my sister on a road trip without telling me where we were going, and on the road they said we were going to Disney. We had the innocent, pure childhood joy! I was reminded of this in the video :)

Sibling jealousy is so funny to me, I remember earlier this year when my new cousin was born, his sister (which is 2) went over to my grandma's house crying when my aunt was giving birth. She wouldn't talk to her parents for like a whole month, now she's the sweetest older sister :)
