yep, better to use low emissions power plant - if you don't have enough power for your stuff: engineer it to a lesser grade like g4 and add monstred experimental

:D doubt still we destroy all titans: goids might evolve and implement some protection or few titans will manage to jump out into far systems where it's gonna be "impossible" to destroy them.

If we were to destroy all titans (doubt it just because it’s a game mechanic that Fdev has invested a lot into and would be a waste to not continue to use) but if we do manage to we probably would in time act as nothing happened. It’s normal for societies to forget about/ pay no attention to events of the past. It would be something almost like legends you hear about from the old NPCs who “remember when the land was completely different”. It’s normal psychology, and what was sacred soon loses its meaning and inherit value.
Think of the titanic… now we make movies and fictional stories about it. We go digging through it as if it were just ruble, or some cool attraction to visit, but it wasn’t always like that. Don’t forget that people died there, and originally it would be wrong to do what we do today. It even brings up a huge debate about when does archeology turn into scavenging?
Sorry for the long comment… kinda got side tracked…
But honestly in due time we would learn to live around it and it would only be an homage we pass occasionally.

Damn, here to think I just returned last night to try to figure out how to get to this titan and help. Now it's gone well shit. Looks like my livery will have 7 titans instead of 8 now. I slept on this week too much.

Forgive my curiosity, but is the destruction of Titan Taranis a single event that everyone in Elite Dangerous Online participated in globally? Will it never happen again? I mean, TH-cam is full of these right now, as if a universal cosmic event has occurred.
yep, it was happening at the same time in every instances/modes, yes. For *this* titan - no, it won't happend again cause it's already destroyed.
But there are 7 more titans to destroy - perhaps goids will implement some protection or few will jump out before cataclysm
@@Alswulf Gosh i'am late, for this one but must be pickup the pace for learning to play for about other titans. After SC controls hard to adapt, but its looking devastating and i want to be there and contribute :D
you gonna have plenty of time :D other titans aren't that weakened - there are a lot to do to make them this vulnerable.
But yeah, it worth it. WIth love to both SC and ED: no other games have similar like this

How mamy days did the fight last?
very approximately - 4 days. But keep in mind: it was the most weakened titan already - systems near him were cleared months ago and it was the very first to arrive.
The other ones aren't gonna fall this fast

would recommend to prepare specific ship for it and join AXI: they are marking strategic targets to hard the next titan (make it weak) so that it will be possible to destroy it

had you unlocked caustic sink? Atm it's free to buy (if I got it correctly - no mats are need). Just to the nearest rescue megaship and buy it. Deploy when its filled up.
