Tanning tip: I recently learned how to get my back by myself… (it’s not as good as if you have someone to apply BUT) I use a giant spatula (lol) and put the mitt on the end with an elastic to hold it on… it’s like using a loofa on a stick to scrub your back! It works!

Allana! I have some tips for you ❤ get compression socks! I used to get so swollen on flights too! And I would be swollen for 12 hrs after the flight lol. But it’s helps 400% 🙌🙌 for tanning, put the mit on a back scratcher or hair brush and tie the bottom with an elastic. It just give that extra reach for the upper middle back 😁 ❤️
I’m excited to hear that the at home laser devices actually work. That’s something I want to try. I did laser removal in a clinic years ago so it’s time for a touch up. Do you (or Dejan’s sister) have a device recommendation?
I go a longgg time in between shaving and my razor would get clogged so quickly and it would take forever so then I would prolong shaving further and the cycle would continue. I bought an electric razor and it is a HUGE game changer! I can shave everything in just a few minutes! I can’t believe I hadn’t used it before this. Highly recommend 😊
Okay, so for swollen legs and feet on planes get compression socks! I have POTS so I need to wear them daily and they have honestly changed my life, sooo good.

Just gotta say, body hair is not embarrassing!!! I haven’t shaved my legs in nearly 3 years now and it has been the most liberating experience. I used to have such pain when I’d shave, and not having to deal with that anymore has been amazing. Now, I know that this is not for everyone, and that’s totally fine. But I also think that normalizing body hair on women is important because had I watched this video 6 months into no shaving, I probably would have been pressured to shave based on Lan mentioning it being embarrassing for her. (Totally a me thing, not Allana’s responsibility). Just a reminder how we talk about our bodies as women matters so much to us and to others. ❤

Allana, I hope you see this but you need to try saltyface tan. It’s the least smelly tanner ive ever used and I never ever get streaks. It’s soo good. I think it’s Canadian as well and I think they ship out of Vancouver too.
I use the at home hair removal and it’s great, it makes me shave less, u just have to be consistent. Shower and shave the night before and do it the morning after, any little hairs left will literally be burned off and u can smell the burned hair so u have to be cleanly shaved.
I own an at home IPL device and wouldn’t repurchase- it’s just too much effort for me personally and I wasn’t noticing much of a difference for how much work I was putting it for months. If it works for some people that’s great though! Disappointing to hear that your hair is growing back after getting professional laser hair removal done! Would love to hear more about how long ago it was and more about your experience.
Yessss, the at home hair removal devices really do magic! I used to go to a professional to have them removed, but it's so expensive! I bought the Philips Lumea, and it does a wonderful job! It's not as effective as professional laser removal, so it would take more time to get to the same point of hairless-ness :D but they do work at least for me!

I recently ordered the Ulike at home ipl device because I've seen so many people say their hair was virtually gone after like a month of use so I'm about to start testing this out as well.
Love EveryDayMay!! Laser is a high maintenance to be low maintenance thing I do and it truly SHOCKS me how expensive it is in US and Canada. I'm from the US, living in Spain, and for pits, full bikini area, and legs from the knees down is only 52 euros a session.
I do have the nood hair laser thingy. And can confirm, it does work. HOWEVER just like the spa visits, you have to use it regularly for a while, which can be a time commitment. Still, even though I haven't used it in like 6 months, I feel like it's permanently altered the texture of my hair - much finer, and a little patchy, so I don't get any in-growns anymore, so I call that a win in itself.

Yes, it works. Just best to start in the fall and wintertime, as there is some restriction with having a tan 😊.

At home hair lasers are def worth the time and effort. Got mine years ago and am basically hair free in the areas I used it on.
Try compression socks to help with swelling on a plane!! They are life changing ❤️❤️

To apply tanning mousse to my back I use my wooden back brush and put the tanning mit over the brush. Not perfect, but it helps a lot!
