My best song in the eighties. What a blessing that I have got it today.God bless the kneed family for the well sang song with all the emotions and wonderful beats .
I saw a blind man tapping along, losing his way, as he passed through the throng Tears filled my eyes, I said, " Friend you can't see, " but, with a smile on his face, he replied to me I'll see all my friends in Hallelujah Square, what a wonderful time we'll all have up there We'll sing and praise Jesus, His glory to share, and you'll not see one blind man in Hallelujah Square Now, I saw a cripple dragging his feet, he couldn't walk like we do down the street I said, " My friend, I feel sorry for you, " but he said, " Up in Heaven, I'm gonna walk just like you." I'll see all my friends in Hallelujah Square, what a wonderful time we'll all have up there We'll sing and praise Jesus, His glory to share, and you'll not see one cripple in Hallelujah Square And I saw an old man, gasping for breath, soon he'd be gone, as his eyes closed in death He looked at me and said, " Friend don't look so blue, for I'm going up to Heaven, now how about you?" I'll see all my friends in Hallelujah Square, what a wonderful time we'll all have up there We'll sing and praise Jesus, His glory to share, and we'll all live forever in Hallelujah Square!
I just love this song. I had this song in 1984 in church and I remember getting so emotional even at that young age. I have been singing this song ever since. May God Bless Sneed Family for singing it so beautifully. I do not know who wrote this song but Many Blessing to whoever wrote it. I lost a close relative a few days ago and this song has lifted up my spirits.
Finally! I found this song done the way I like it! slow in parts and high in some. I love this song. It reminds me of my grandfather who taught it to me at 4 yrs old. After he passed in 74 I remember singing it to the top of my lungs swinging in a swing and always remember him. This song helped me cope when he passed. Thank you for posting it!!
I love the way white people say Jesus! Black folks on the other hand we say “JeeUs” not trying to make everything about race but that’s the first thing that stuck out to me.
This is a great song but I wish she would of just sang the song instead of making her voice sound nasal and twangy at times. In my opinion it would have sounded alot better.

Are you saying that the only friends you have are believers? Are you saying that the only friends you have are born again? Are you saying that the only friends you have are christians? Then what have you been doing with your life? Have you been spreading the good news, to all whom you have befriended? Have you been spreading the good news, to all your lived ones? When I am an old woman I will say, "Friend don't look so blue, I am going up to heaven. How about you?" Yes, how about you? This is my hope. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3 KJV
