Cyprus in Late March, Early April - What to Expect from the Beaches.

Everyone enjoys sunbathing, but only a few take a dip, and it's understandable given the unpredictable weather in March and early April. There's a mix of wind and rain, yet the sun manages to warm things up almost every day. The air temperature hovers around +22 to +24 degrees Celsius, while the water is a bit cooler at +16 to +17 degrees Celsius. It's warm, but not quite hot enough for a swim.
Nevertheless, March sees an influx of tourists in Cyprus, particularly in Ayia Napa, known for its sandy resorts. Protaras follows suit a week or two later. Beach activities kick off in Paphos after that.

18 or 19 degrees is not that bad, the Mediterranean Sea in Spain is 14 degrees in March, very cold.

Yes, Cyprus is warmer than Spain, because it is 150 km south of Gibraltar and a lot of heat comes to Cyprus from the deserts of the Middle East
