- ℹ️ ABOUT TODAY'S EPISODE
Talk about some interesting flavors! It took me a while to figure this one out, but I think I've finally figured out the scents and tastes of this one. Let's head to Dracula's castle (or is it) for a taste.

I had the Carpathian whisky in a bar, then bought a bottle. It's really nice and good. I had the Feteasca Neagra. Sweet, aromatic, intense, medium to long finish. Dried plums, spices, noble mold (like on camembert), a distinct red wine smell, a slight smoke. A tad similar to Glen Sotia Victoriana, with much more flavors but a bit less kick. Price wise, not so cheap, but way better than tourist traps (Glenfiddich 12) yet not much cheaper than fabulous whiskies (Bruchladdie).
I really appreciate that breakdown. It is a fascinating whisky and I sense some Romanian wine influence is what makes me feel this is so unique. Excellent tasting note...I'll need to revisit it. Cheers 🥃
