What Would You Look for in a Board & Train Program?

Question for dog owners: as you research dog trainers and board & train programs, what are you looking for? What is it about board & train programs that you feel is the best fit for your dog? From our experience, most owners choose it for its convenience, its “summer camp” structure, and for its efficiency & speed. Why do YOU prefer it?

Only the last one is a reason, and those people need to be involved throughout the process at certain stages. People need to understand, and do certain things to improve the relationship with their dog. I go to homes with very serious cases. Once the owner can do a few simple things, the rest falls into place. The leash is 90% of the game. 4-6 weeks and 4k$ isn’t necessary, but I can see why it’s being made to seem like it is.
