This honestly might be my favorite Periphery song of all time. Like everything in this track is perfection and the beauty of spencer singing and everything coming to a head at the end is so beautiful. Great cover dude.
@@ilay829first and foremost you need left and right hand synchronization, followed up lots of practice with hammer-ons and slides. With any mark riff you always have to use hammer-ons and open strings followed up lots of slides. Thats just an overall basic idea of what techniques this riff entails to it. I hope this helps!
@@SaulRamosMusic thank you so much dude! And I have a lil question. When periphery uses lead arpeggios, they are following the root notes of the chords? In froggin bullfish and the first minutes of atroops for example.
This is insane man you're incredible! New album is so good wax wings and Nobuo feel like peak P2. So cool to see a final fantasy referencing song with how many of mishas bulb stuff references FF.
Nailed it! I just love to see these kind of uncut guitar covers. Just shows they can play it from top to bottom without f*cking up. More power to you bro!
Friggin chill, my dude. Get some well earned sleep, because I know you got none from the moment the album dropped to the moment you released this cover lol
I liked the part, where you Mark Holcomb’d the entire Mark Holcomb riff like you were Mark Holcomb yourself. You definitely channeled your Mark Holcomb all over this Mark Holcomb song. Mark Holcomb would be Mark Holcomb of you. You definitely Mark Holcomb’d all over the place, nice!
@@SaulRamosMusic You most definitely Mark Holcomb’d the assignment. You should be Mark Holcomb of yourself! You Mark Holcomb’d it. Mark Holcomb couldn’t Mark Holcomb it any more than Mark Holcomb himself could Mark Holcomb it. I can’t Mark Holcomb what’s coming next from you 🥰 You deserve more Mark Holcombs!
I’m running this guitar through my Axe FX actually! Nothing too fancy a modern gain amp with a drive in front of it and effects like reverb delay and chorus in the sections that need it!
Hey Fer! Sorry about the late reply! So here is the chord progression starting from 2:04, hope it really helps out! G add11 - Am add 11 - C add9 - G add11 - Ab maj7/#11 sus2 - C add9 - C maj7/9 - Eb maj7/9 - Ab maj7/9 - Db maj7/9 - C maj7/9 sus4
I use the Canon EOS M50! It’s a great camera that has a really good quality, the lense is even the stock lense you get, no upgrades. Thank you for the comment! 🤘🏼😁
@@SaulRamosMusic no offense - that in advance… …hard to put in words. To me it lacks soul and an own identity. It’s definitely fun to listen for all the references they put in but viewed from the distance it’s quiet forced and not really well woven into the compositions. okay „the event“ nice… but „four lights, 22 faces, reptile, …“ u name it… to me it feels more like recycling ideas than citring great moments of their history. On one hand the songs are packed with interesting ideas but on the other hand none of them are fleshed out to be enjoyable. I’ll definitely give it some more spins but to me it isn’t quite compelling when listening to it makes me just want to go back to the older records than following their chosen path. In the end i still respect their work and love mark’s style of writing but all the great records aside… on IV we’ve got new turns with „reptile“ or the well aged „sentient glow“ or with „chvrch burner“ one of the most brutal things ever but on V… i sense nothing like that. Pretty much like all those other tracks from Periphery III you don’t remember the name of.
@@winspyy Well i kind of managed to become friends with Zagreus… guess due to the multiple instrumental uploads by the boys. It recaptures the spirit of Reptile without using too much of it.
Hell no. Dracul Gras is a damn masterpiece. Wax wings and atropos are amazing too. It's much better than p4 at least. P4 is their worst full album hands down
You know it’s a Mark riff when the verse is basically a guitar solo but also a riff somehow😂😂😂😂
Yeah love learning those mark riffs 😂
This whole song just sweats Mrak Holecum... I love it
Mrak Holecum💯💯
A day. It was just a day after release and you already got this covered 👏🏼
Spent all day but it was a great song to learn!
This honestly might be my favorite Periphery song of all time. Like everything in this track is perfection and the beauty of spencer singing and everything coming to a head at the end is so beautiful. Great cover dude.
Seriously an amazing outro! 🤘🏼
Every last song since P3... Lune, Satellites and now Thanks Nobuo.
It's in my top 5 periphery songs. Easily my favorite off p5 though Dracul Gras is right behind it
A worthy closer to a great album
2:04 I swear everytime this alternate picking in the beginning of the chorus I get eargasms. Best highlight in the song for me
I love that section so much! One of the highlights for me as well!
That chorus is easily one of the best parts from the album
@@SaulRamosMusichow can I even approach to playing this riff? You nailed btw

That part at 3:19 sounds so amazing, and you nailed it sir! Great cover!

Hey bro is this is drop c ? What to learn to it but doesn’t sound like that tuning
@@willvaughn6.395 hey will! Yes this song is in Drop C tuning!
Really impressive man, had to wait to make sure this wasn't a troll. I wish you tons of success with your endeavors.

it's one of those songs that gives you unbelievable satisfaction from playing it on the guitar. Last time I had such an impression with "Passenger"
It really did! Was very challenging and equally as rewarding!
amazing so fast
This was killer dude! Keep it up! You're inspiring! 🤘
incredible

Great cover man, respect!
What a great song to close out the album with a beyond epic outro
%1000 the best song on the album and maybe their best song ever. Like holy cow what an experience this one is. Sick cover, my dude! 🔥
Thanks dude! Appreciate it!
Weird thought but I’m kinda glad there are so many drop c songs on this album
Solo at 3:19 is one of my favorite pieces of music they’ve ever created. Great work man.
that’s just the riff lol
Thats just the riff but its basically a solo yeah 😂
From haunted shores early works until now, you CANNOT mistake a mark riff.
Fk yeah! I was hoping someone would get one out quick for this song. Followed, bro. Nice work

unreal how quickly you've got this down, kudos!
